Luke Mayhew

Chairman

Luke Mayhew joined the group in July 2005 as non-executive chairman. Prior to joining Pets at Home, Luke spent four years as Managing Director of John Lewis. He has extensive retail experience, which includes non-executive positions at WH Smith and Bank Fashion.  Luke lives with Amy his cat and two goldfish Nemo and Dory.

Matt Davies

Chief Executive

Matt Davies, joined Pets at Home in August 2001 as Group Finance Director and was appointed Group Chief Executive in March 2004.  Matt lives with Archie, a black Labrador whose favourite treat is pig’s ears.

Catriona Marshall

Commercial Director

Catriona Marshall, joined Pets at Home in January 2003 as Trading Director.  She is responsible for developing the customer proposition in stores, building the Pets at Home brand and achieving profitable growth through the trading plan. Catriona lives with her 2 Boxer dogs Molly and Robbie, Madison the parrot and Jake and Jasper the cats.  Catriona is one of our best customers!

Ian Kellett

Finance Director

Ian Kellett joined Pets at Home in May 2006 as Finance Director. Ian lives with his two dogs, Zico the Viszla and Max the Weimaraner whose favourite treat is Wainwright’s freeze dried beef treats.

John Farrell

Development Director

John Farrell joined Pets at Home in January 1993, when the company had one store.  John manages the store development and opening programs as well as Merchandising and how we use space within our stores.  John looks after our support office rabbit called Daisy.  Daisy’s favourite treat is Pets at Home Golden corn.

Anthony Preston 

Non Exec Director

Anthony Preston spent 4 years with 3i before he left in 1982 to join his family cash and carry business. In 1991 he formed Pets at Home Limited and opened his first store in Chester. Anthony moved in to a non executive position in 2004.  Anthony lives at home with his 2 dogs, Molly and Ned whose favourite treats are Pets at Home tripe sticks.
