Pets at Home Charitable Foundation
Introduction
At Pets at Home we are passionate about pets and believe that every pet deserves to live a happy and healthy life.
However, every year in the UK, thousands of pets end up without a home due to a change in their owner’s circumstances, such as a new baby, a family illness or relocation. We want to make it our mission to help these abandoned pets find new and happy homes.
In the past we have raised more than £1,200,000 for pet related charities such as Hearing Dogs, Dogs for the Disabled and The Blue Cross. In addition we have built relationships with Dog’s Trust, Cat’s Protection and the Rabbit Welfare Association, all of which share our passion for animal welfare.
The Pets at Home Charitable foundation is pleased to support the following charities:

As a result of this ongoing work, we have launched our own charity – The Pets at Home Charitable Foundation – which will provide much needed support to charities such as these, plus the numerous, locally-based rehoming centres which do a tremendous job of finding loving homes for pets within your community.
Objectives
The Pets at Home Charitable Foundation has been set up to promote the welfare of animals and as such the charity can provide financial assistance for the benefit of the public in order to:
-
Promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage.
-
Educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.
-
To promote responsible pet ownership.
