Regular testing of water quality and regular water changes should be maintained.Replacement of your Carbon Cartridge every 6-8 weeks is necessary, to ensure the continued health of your fish and aquarium water.If you are treating your aquarium water with medication, the Carbon Cartridge should be removed from the filter, as carbon will remove any treatments and medications from the water.
