Replacement Filer Foam 2 Pack for Aquafish Aquarium are specifically designed to remove the larger particles from your aquarium water.

o Made from high grade open pored foam, so the water that passes through the sponge will be cleaned of most larger particles;
o Serves as both a biological and mechanical filter, essential to the health of your aquarium and fish.

Foam Filter Cartridges are disposable and should be replaced as soon as it loses shape. Failure to do so will lead to particles avoiding the filtering process and causing a deterioration in the quality of your aquariums water.

You should regularly check and clean your foam filters as the accumulation of dirt and biological waste causes the foam filter to block; rinse in aquarium water only, in order to maintain the biological health.
