I have had rats for the past 4 yrs. They are so much fun and they have always given me a smile. I have just lost one of my best friends. I tamed her so much that she would always be with me when ever I was in. I have only got one rat left and she is so funny and very hypo-active. I will give it a couple of days and I will be at pets at home to get another couple of rats.

I have a rat at the moment and I love her 2 pieces but unfortunatly she's got a massive lump and I have taken her to the vet but they said that it was a very expensive treatment like £190. I'm going to be going back to the vets soon which makes me very sad as I rescued her but I will definately be getting another one.

Rats are brilliant pets. I think they are much better than hamsters and mice. I have always had one or two rats. They can be kept alone and will become excellent companions if tamed properly. You should research before purchasing one to check its your ideal pet and check you are able to fulfill all the necessary requirments to care for one. The perfect pet!
