Our Support Centre is based in Handforth, Cheshire. The office is home to all the support functions whose aim in life is to help our stores provide first class service to our customers. Head Office, is also home to the Innovation Centre, a mock up store. The Innovation Centre has proved invaluable to our Buying, Merchandising and Marketing teams as it gives us the opportunity to try new and innovative ideas before introducing them to stores.

The Departments based at the Support Centre are:

IT, Store Development, Retail Support, HR and Training, Payroll, Product Supply, Merchandising, Buying, Marketing, E-Commerce, Loss Prevention, Legal and Finance.

Of course with such a wide range of departments we have a wide range of career opportunities at all levels from Administration Support through to Head of Department but whichever department you work in and at what ever level, our aim is the same, to support our stores in exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Every member of the Support Centre team is expected to regularly visit stores and spend at least 4 days a year working in stores. To help grow this Support Centre/Store relationship, we run an “Adopt a Store” scheme where everyone at the Support Centre buddies up with a store to act as a regular contact point with the office and to assist stores if they do not know where to turn to resolve a problem.

We pride ourselves on being a fun and friendly place to work. That may mean socialising with your immediate team or taking part in one of the many activities we hold throughout the year such as Five a Side football tournament, the Pets at Home Netball team, Dragon Boat Racing, Charity Runs, the Annual Head Office Camping Trip, or our family Fun Day where dogs, kids, colleagues and friends mix in the sun (hopefully).
