too many ways for the dog to get out ...

my 3 month old puppy loved this for the first few weeks till he realised he could open the zips from the whole front flap and i would find him running around the house in the night and not in his bed , too many zips for the dog to open in my opinion .

Thought this would be good to transport our 10 week old lab. He bounced it around in the boot on the outward journey but all was quiet on the return trip. We thought we'd tired him out, but no. He was busy separating the zip from the body of the crate. He did this in 10 minutes and when we opened the boot back at home, he was sitting proudly in the boot chewing his rucksack. This is not a well thought through design. Been disappointed with 3 peaks, don't think they really know dogs at all.

We transported our puppy cocker spaniel in this travel carrier about 4 times before he ripped it to shreds! If your dog doesn't like travelling then I wouldn't reccommend this product. It did fit nicely into our Honda Civic. We'll be looking at a more sturdy cage rather than a fabric one.

We have a 4 month old cockapoo and bought this as a travel crate for our VW Golf. We returned the original crate after only a few weeks as the seams started to come undone. PAH were happpy to exchange it, but the second one has started to fall apart too after only two weeks. Our dog is happy to travel and sits quietly in the crate. He has spend a total of about 30 minutes in the 2nd crate so this is competely unacceptable and I will be returning to the store this morning for a refund.
3 Peaks is marketed as durable, expedition dog equipment. I will think twice about buying any further products from this company.

I bought the medium to transport my cocker spaniel puppy in the car. We go on walks every day. She gets very muddy. In less than 3 months of use the mesh has split away from the side. I am really disappointed. It should be a lot more robust than this. As it has got so muddy I don't feel I can take it back.

We bought this back in May 2011 instead of a dog crate for our Jack Russell so that he had somewhere of his own to use as a "den". I personally do not like the metal crates/cages but wanted somewhere in the house for him to go that he knew was "his". We saw this and thought it was ideal - not as "prison-like" or "obtrusive" as a cage but perfect for him to go in and out of as he pleases. We do not however use this for him to travel in or to keep him in when we are out, it is purely there for him to use as he pleases.

We put it up in our kitchen and our dog went straight in. Now we can hardly get him out of it! He takes himself off into it during the day for a snooze or to chew his latest treat and he sleeps in it every night. It was perfect for him at Christmas to go off into when we had people round and he wanted to "get away" - I only wished they did one big enough for me!

I've recently washed it for the 1st time - in the bath with washing powder and it has washed up a treat.

Would defo reccommend and will defo get another if/when this one wears out.

We bought this for taking our cat away at Christmas. Seemed the perfect solution, nice and big with plenty of room. I had also bought her a foam mattress also from Pets at Home, and fleece to bulk it up for comfort.

Going down was fine, no problems. Coming back, she wasn't having any of it. I'm just grateful we we're going as far as we did, had it been further I fear she may of ripped her way through the mesh doors - sharp clawns and fabric mesh don't mix well, needless to say next time it is used I will need to some repair work. Good size, just not the most durable in the world. There is no way I would be taking it up a mountain.

Purchased this for house move to transport my nervous house cat, on first use of the carrier the seams spilt and one of the handles became unattached resulting in me nearly droping it on the floor along with poor kitty. This is of very poor quality, unforturnately the stress of the move caused kitty to wee herself soiling the carrier, hence I didnt feel I could return it to the shop for a refund.

This is a fab Dog Crate !!!!!!!!!!

brought this to put our dog (a jug) in when we travel in our new car.
i put it up in seconds and fitted lovely in the car.
it has a removable soft waterproof base and the sides of the crate has flaps so it can be opened or closed.
no issues with the zips as they are on the outside so no chance of the dog being able to get to them
it folds flat in seconds to and is very easy to store

if you have a small dog and want to keep your car nice this is a must
