The 3 Peaks Crash Mat Dog Mattress is a durable and water resistant dog mattress that makes an ideal place for your dog to crash after a day of orienteering in the local wilderness.

Made with a non-slip friction pad base, this mattress wont slip around and is ideal for use in your dog crate; perfect for use at home or out and about.

most poor reviews have been about the mat being chewed.i own a patterdale and she has chewed every mat except the 3 peaks.the only difficulty is getting the cover back on after washing.
the one natural dog chew that is lasting with my patterdale is a stag bar it dusnt splinter and is safe to leave with my dog in the cage.this will prevent your mat from being chewed.the stag bar comes in different sizes i find it better than a nylabone and is easily bought on the internet from the uk

thought this was going to be a great product, it could have been, after first night she started biting at the corner, next night she found the zip, next night the whole thing was in bits. really liked the look of these, maybe i`ll try again when she is a bit older, not for puppies

we bought this for our lab and within half hour she ripped the corner started to chew through the foam. we bought this because it was described as being hard wearing but was certainly not. also pricey for how long it lasted.

My 2 labs ripped this to shreds within an hour.

It appears the '3 peaks' logo which is stiched on is very tempting to the dogs.

I have a good mind to return it as no way is it hard wearing!

NICE MAT HAD IT A FEW MONTHS BUT THE FOAM IS VERY THIN. tRYING TO GET IT IN AND OUT THE COVER AFTER WASHING IS NOT ALWAYS EASY. HAD TO BUY REPLACEMENT FOAM IN THE END.

We purchased this item to put in the dog crate for our 3 month old douge de bordeux (french mastiff) she uses it daily she sleeps for upto 8 hours per night and she still uses the same one she is now 8 months old and weighs 8 stone its perfect as its a mattress we cover it and she is more than happy and comfortable and it seems that comfortable that even our new puppy of 10 weeks likes to sneak in there with her to sleep would highly recommend. Oh and its been in and out of our washing machine and still fits perfect.

I bought it for my old Labrador who doesn't chew or dig her bedding. The first one I returned to the store after a week as the cover was threadbare and the replacement one has gone exactly the same way. There is no way I could wash the cover, it would just fall to pieces. Very disappointing product.
