Previously called DAP.Adaptil contains Dog Appeasing Pheromone which is a substance produced by the mother dog to comfort and reassure her puppies. It has been proven to have similar reassuring benefits to adult dogs when exposed to stressful situations.
Adaptil can:
- Help comfort dogs during car travel.
- Help promote learning during training classes.
- Help adult dogs and puppies settle in new homes.
- Help reduce stress-related behaviours in response to challenging situations (fireworks, Christmas, new baby etc.)
- When the Adaptil collar is in snug contact with the dogs skin, the dogs body temperature warms the collar and encourages the diffusion of pheromones into the local environment.
The medium/large collar (fits neck up to 62.5cm). Each collar lasts 4 weeks and can be replaced as required.
Directions for Use:
Fasten the collar around the dogs neck and adjust. Cut off the excess portion of the collar. Leave the collar around the dogs neck at all times.
Do not use the collar on dogs with extensive skin lesions.
