AquaNano 40 Aquarium set - 51L offers a complete aquarium system consisting of PL lighting as well as a total filtration system complete with biological and mechanical components.

The filter unit built into the rear of the aquaNano includes all the media as well as housing the heater and the circulation pump.

The PL light provides bright and efficient lighting using a tube designed to enhance the natural colours of your aquarium inhabitants.

I think this is a great tank! The only complaints I see are regarding the small triangular cut out on the glass lid, which most assume goes at the front for feeding. This has apparently led to fish jumping out!
I didn't have this problem as i positioned the gap to be on the back left of the aquarium where the wires from the heater and pump can be easily fed through, leaving no gaps for fish to jump out! To feed i just lift the smaller sheet of glass at the front.

It looks really nice in my room, plenty space for nice decorations, and looks very modern. Make sure you have a sturdy stand though as obviously it is very heavy when filled with water. Well worth the money also, you get everything you need for a tropical tank.

First bought this tank and the set up is really easy looks really nice and the filter system is one of the best around.
Only draw back is thd lid which has a corner cut off and fish tend to jump out so I covered it with another small piece of glass .
You proberbly won't get much fish in the tank . I'd say about 12 very small fish or 6 average size. A very good start up tank

Decorative and modern

This is a gorgeous, modern design with a couple of cons. Mainly to do with the glass lid:
i) the underside of the lid does suffer from a certain amount of condensation, obstructing the view of the aquarium from above.
ii) This one, more worrying, is that we unfortunately lost two small starter fish on two different days, that we can only assume managed to leap out of the small triangular feeding gap left in the lid. The water level was at least 2.5 cm lower than the top of the tank. Would you believe it?
iii) One of the glow light tetra we started with managed to get out of the main tank area and into the pump area at the rear of the tank. We managed to rescue it but with some adjustment to the small net we had bought which was still too wide for this space.
The tank is now happily stocked with an assortment of small tetra and golden barb. Be aware of these issues and you should enjoy a beautiful tank for many years to come.

Service & Delivery comments:

Customer service were informed of my issues with the tank and they offered a full refund, which I did not want.
