The lightweight design of the Baskerville Ultra Muzzle provides an all round protection yet still allows dogs to drink, and pant, keeping them as unrestricted as possible.

A comfortable and secure clip fastens behind the head, with an adjustable strap to ensure a perfect fit.

Made from a soft plastic, the muzzle is lightweight, comfortable and easy to clean.

Muzzles are not designed to be worn for long periods of time and dogs should never be left wearing a muzzle unattended.

i brought this for my dog who can be a little snappy ,i got a size 1 took it home to fit and it was really difficult , you have to put a collar through it and the buckle was a nightmare,took her for a walk and it constantly went in her eyes and she eventually got it off,i then went to a different shop and brought the old style and what a difference easy to fit no buckle and the old style is smaller than the new , i would not recommend the new style

Have had one of the old style Baskerville muzzles for quite a while, and granted it is not my dogs favourite thing in the world but it fits well and is light weight. Unfortunately, due to him being the clumsy so and so that he is he managed to snap some of the grates and so I was looking to get a replacement. The normal cloth muzzles are of no use as we need his to be worn for walks and so being able to pant, etc is a must. I was disappointed to find that Pets At Home no longer stock the old tan coloured version but after reading the item description promising more comfort for the dog, etc I ordered one of these. Sadly these are completely unsuitable for long nosed breeds such as my GSD as it just did not fit to his face at all, despite me returning and trying several different sizes on him. It was almost just perched on the end of his nose with large gaps all around the sides. These muzzles are only suitable for short nosed breeds such as mastiffs, staffys, rotties, etc. So only buy if you have one of these types of dog as they simply DO NOT fit long nosed dogs AT ALL!

My dog is friendly terrier but tends to treat spaniel ears as tugs toys. We meet a friend who has a spaniel so started using this so he could get off the lead without either of us worrying. Go for a few miles through woods so they are always off chasing something the muzzle stayed on with 3 dogs attempting to haul it off. The buckle is handy for those whose hands can't manage a clip (my mum being one). For ease of use we leave the clip fastened at the top and use a second collar so you just hook one ear in and buckle it. He settled down really quickly with it once he realised that he could still have his drink and treats.

Very poor belt type fitting design. Would be far better and more practical with a clip type. Very difficult to see holes and would suggest marking with tipex for the first few uses. Once eventually fitted it is pretty decent but would def not recc this type of design if you have the slightest difficulty with getting a muzzle on your dog..

I have a seriously stroppy springer (great with people but fear aggressive with almost all other dogs) who loves nothing more than to chase a ball. We have to be careful and only allow him to do this when we have great visibility and there are no other dogs around who want to come and say hello. Consequently I need a muzzel that I can get on and off quickly. We lost our last one that you stocked and whilst the general style of this is a great improvement in terms of comfort, flexibility, being able to give treats, allows him to pant etc the buckle fastening is just SO hard to get on and off quickly and easily.... (not helped by the fact the position is right under my spaniels great big fluffy ears!) A clip fastening like the old style would be much better for us...

I bought this muzzle for my staffy cross who is fear agressive around some larger dogs and was taking a while to settle into my pack (3 huskies)

The extra security is fantastic, the strap across the top of the head and the loop for a collar really help to keep the muzzle in place, my staffy has tried and failed to get it off.

i also like the padding around it, it doesnt cause any rub marks and seems more comfortable for the dog

Being able to feed treats through the muzzle is great as you can work on behaviour modification while keeping other dogs safe :)

I love this muzzle. My dog shredded 2 nylon muzzles in 2 days so I got one of these which allows him to breathe a lot easier, he can take treats easily and pant much better. He is more comfortable with this muzzle and it's so much more durable. I feel a lot safer around other dogs with the muzzle- my dog isn't aggressive but gets very over excited when playing and nips. This prevents it completely and we're both much happier out on walks! Much better than the old tan colour one which was a hard plastic- this is softer and fits better on the face.

I have a Labrador who's fear aggressive at the vet's and with strange men (he's fine when introduced gently and given personal space) and bought this to replace the fabric muzzle which we used for vet appointments. It's far better! He can pant, drink and take food rewards and doesn't mind it at all. Couldn't find a regular Baskerville to fit him but this fits perfectly and is very adjustable. I feel more confident walking him in it as he seems more relaxed while wearing it than he does without.

we have looked after my friends dog after major surgery, amputaion of front leg. Due to pain he was a bit snappy, this allowed us to handle him while being safe, until we built his confidence. Only needed short term, but always handy to have in an emergency.
