I have been using this with my chinchilla months now. It is safe, and there is no problems. Make sure your chinchilla does not get any water on their fur before the use of this product. I use this twice a week.

I think that this can also be used for gerbil, since that they are desert animals, also that this product is good for there coat and that they feel more relaxed playing in a similar environment as the desert. :)

This is great stuff- i use it for my hammy's. One of them loves to dig and gets very excited about her sand baths and the other one is getting the hang of it. very pleased. Well worth the money.

My hamster likes to play in the sand. Normally she just sits in the bath and cleans herself in the sand. She also enjoys rubbing her body in it. When she had babies earlier, we noticed that they also enjoyed playing in it very much since about three weeks old. It is a good product for hamsters for fun.

I use this sand for my degus, they climb the cage as soon as they see the bath being put in. I have used other sand they tended to fling out of their cage, this doesn't do that. It also doesn't get in their eyes like some other sands and keeps their fur looking lovely.

Well my 2 chinchillas love it seems to be they cant get enough of the stuff the bath goes in morning and evening and you can bet before you get the bath in they are up and waiting to jump in and when they are out on the floor they know where they're bath sits my Little Lady Flash seems to find her self Highly Funny and Climb up the cage bars ( on the outside) to get to the top of her cage and jump on to the Unit where the sand ball sits & where they're stuff is Stored just to get in the sand bath ball! she also uses this time to use it as a hide out away from the my little Man Junior

Good value dust, I have tried others but this one is the best. My 6 chinchillas have lovely clean fur from using this. It is less dusty than some and doesnt stick to the chinchillas or irritate their eyes.

dont see any problem with the product its self but my two little dawrf hamsters kept trying to eat it so i stopped using it. im not sure weather to try again or not incase it will harm them by eating it.

This is a great item, not too dusty unlike some other sand i have used. I would like to add that as well as chinchillas this sand is also essential for dwarf hamsters whose fur is almost as dense as a chinchilla, i have five dwarf hamsters and each has a small sand bath to clean themselves, keeps their fur beautiful. Maybe add a link to the dwarf hamsters? many thanks for your time
