The new biOrb flow 15 aquarium is sold as a cold water tank suitable for white cloud mountain minnows, rainbow dace and other small cold water fish, If small Tropical fish and shrimp are to be kept then the addition of a Reef-One heater pack will be required. The air pump that is supplied with the aquarium should run quietly but care must be taken to ensure the unit is not in contact with any surfaces, And The addition of a small air line clamp can reduce the amount of vibration noise within the pump, If an air pump is still overly noisy after this the we encourage you to contact us at Reef-One.com and we will arrange to have the offending pump sent back to us for testing if found to be overly noisy a replacement will be sent out. The aquarium should be supplied with enough ceramic media to give approximately a one inch covering to the bottom of the aquarium if this is not the case then please contact us and we will arrange to have another pack sent out.
