Bob Martin Silent Pump Action Flea Spray for Cats is the quick and easy pump action way to treat your cat for fleas:

Kills fleas on cats and kittens over 12 weeks of age;
The pack contains approximately 11 treatments for an adult cat;
Re-apply when necessary but allow at least 72 hours between applications;
Not suitable for use on nursing queens;
Not suitable for use on kittens under 12 weeks of age or cats under 1.5kg.

Fleas are often found within your cat's basket, bedding, and regular resting areas, including carpets and soft furnishings; these should be treated with a suitable household flea spray and vacuumed regularly.

i used the spray on my cats as directed. it is not a 'silent' spray, i can hardly get near to my cats now as they have been so terrified from it.
i have been using it for a week and they still have fleas, i have to take them to the vet now for treatment. they have never had fleas before (9 years old now) am very disappointed with this product because it has not only made my cats frightened of treatment but also could potentially have made them ill. one vet told me that i would have to wait 3 weeks before using another product due to harmful toxins. another vet is agreeing to see them and treat them after 24 hours.

While this would work very well as a punishment for our cat (he absolutely hates it and the spray is definitely NOT silent), it is useless at treating fleas. Even fleas that I have seen get directly hit with the spray seem completely unaffected by it. You just end up with a wet, distressed, uncomfortable cat that still has fleas (and lots of scratches on your arms!) Avoid.

Firstly I want to say how disappointed I am in the supposedly 'silent' spray pump on this... I found it no quieter that many sprays I have, and it really terrified my cats, including my longhair, which wouldn't feel such a light spray of liquid, so it definitely was the noise that scared him. Since the cats were so scared it was difficult, even when holding them as still as possible, to get a good distribution of the spray all over the cats; their heads and undersides especially were pretty impossible.

However I have found it to be fairly effective. My cats experienced none of the side effects and when I went over them with a flea comb the next day I found all the areas we sprayed completely flea free. There were a few still remaining around their heads and necks where we were not able to administer the spray, however I think these probably would have died over the next few days, since you can still just about see a coating of the spray on the areas it went on. (The coating is dried though and doesn't make the fur feel icky at all)

So overall I'm prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt, and use it again when needed, hoping they will get used to the sound of the spray. However I wouldn't recommend it if your cats really dislikes sprays and you were hoping the 'silent' spray will be alright for them.

This spray was definitely NOT silent, my cat was scared to death of it! It also caused her to groom far too much and she was salivating heavily from the product... Also did not get rid of fleas on her so wasn't much use.

As soon as i sprayed the cats i saw fleas scrambling to get away!
im not sure it kills them though, i did the killing. Its best to grab your kitty by their scruff and hold their bum while someone else sprays, and spray in lines so you know were you have been, it says to comb furr wrong way... i wouldnt bother cat hair doesnt work like that, instead wear gloves and work it gently in with your finger tips.

And not letting your cat groom..... well thats never going to work, instead make sure you have fresh water near them i placed our cat in her bed so the excess could come off on the bed and kill any that were there too. Your cat really drools afterwards so keep an eye out.

I recently spotted a few fleas on my cat. I was looking for a good spray for ages when I came across this. I am so happy I bought this and will buy another one soon. Got rid of the fleas. YOU SEE EFFECTS WHILE YOU SPRAYING. I caught about 6 fleas while spraying. The reason I gave this product 4 stars is because as soon as my cat gets sprayed, he panics and you have to have another person holding the cat while you spray. Secondly is because it states that the fur has to be completely dry before your cat can groom himself but still whenever my cat grooms afterwards he drools. But nothing major, I just have to keep an eye on him. Normally I just wipe it off with tissue and make him drink milk. But the drooling only occurs for a few hours and that's ONLY if he grooms himself.
