Small Pet Bedding by Carefresh is an economical small pet bedding, requiring only half the amount of a conventional bedding material.

Featuring:

Unique odour control system;
Virtually dust free to protect your small pets respiratory system;
Lasts twice as long as traditional bedding;
Absorbs over three times its weight in liquid;
Heat sanitised to kill bacteria, mould and fungus.

Made from wood pulp, Carefresh Small Pet Bedding is environmentally friendly, recycling natural by-products of paper manufacturing which would normally be disposed of in landfill.

I used wood shavings before i started using carefresh.
my Russian dwarf hamster loves to dig but with saw dust it just goes every where. So i tried using carefresh. When i first got it it dose smell abit but now i cant smell it. So i would defiantly buy it again.

It was nice and has good obsorbsion but smells after your hamster pee's once! not the best product i would rather use woodshavings! but nice if you want to clean it as quickly as possible it is good for you.

I used to always use sawdust for my hamster, until someone recommended carefresh to me. I would never go back to sawdust now, carefresh does smell funny when you first use it, but you soon get used to that, and it lasts much longer than sawdust!

WASTE OF MONEY DOES NOT WORK

Animals brush it aside, Doesn't cover cage well, Does not work, It's basically manky card, Must use shavings with it, NO ABSORBTION, Smells funny, Too expensive

I bought this several times for my mouse cages, does it work? simple answer. NO.
It looks and smells like old chewed cardboard boxes, it is chunky you can't separate smaller pieces well and when you scatter it you have to use a good chunk of the bag to cover the floor of a standard sized mouse cage (not very big!) it does not absorb odour or urine, the animals brush it aside and pee on the plastic of the cage.

You can't use this product unless you have shavings beneath it, it's an absolute waste of money.

Wood shavings stick to our hamster's long fur, making him look like an unkempt yeti, sawdust knots in his fur and has to be combed out. Carefresh doesn't stick or knot, he loves to burrow in it and has moved out of his house, preferring to make his bed in a corner in the Carefresh and some paper bedding. The colour (brown) is natural and attractive.
Would recommend particularly for long-haired pets, the only drawback is the price.

This product when in its packaging smells like a carboard box, but once it is out you cant smell anything.

I used it for my netherland dwarf, house rabbits toilet. It is absorbent and the only time you get any odour is when clean them out.

I would only recommend this to people with small animals ie gerbils, hamsters etc.

Its too expensive to use with rabbits.

If your wondering what's the healithest option for your pet, THIS IS IT!!

it's so safe, yet so good for us humans too!

it's attractive design, is eye catching for the cage, it helps inspire kids to clean out there pets!

and also, has no nasty chemicals in !

it stops any nasty smells and lasts ages! even with 2 fully grown Hamsters, it by clean out day it still smelling fresh!

My gerbils love this. It smells strange and takes a while to get used to but it absorbs urine very well. I've had no bad odours in their tank and it's been in there for a good week. It looks quite ugly but I'd rather them have something that looks more natural unlike the confetti. If you have a problem with odour then this is a must. It's great value for what you get because it doubles in volume when you get it out of the packet!
