I bought one for my previous foster cats as they munched their food so quickly and it really helped, not only by slowing them down but also providing some activity for them while they were alone. Treats went in first then the regular crunchies. I then got one for the cat I looked after for a whole month. She really took to it and I was pleased to find something to keep her ocupied during long stretches of time when I wasn't able to be with her.

Bought this on a whim as my 1 year old cat seems to gobble down all her food in 10 minutes. I put her morning feed in the ball plus a few treats and leave it on the smallest hole and she loves it. It will last her all day and she will shove it round the room hunting for food. I don't use it for weight control, just too keep her active. It is quite a small hole to actually get the food in but worth it. It's quite pricey but provides a game the whole day.

Bought this for my cat who used get bored and stressed at home alone, shes a picky eater too so bought this to try out. Its worked exactly as i hoped, the ball is filled up every few days and the cat thinks its filled with treats as would much prefer to eat the food out of the ball even if the same food is in her bowl. Used to put treats in to start with until she figured out how it worked, use on largest setting as i dont use it for weight control, but find the ball all over the house so she def uses it. One warning easy to forget there is food in it and visitors and family members do have habbit of kicking the ball and leaving food all over the place, but cat soon gobbles up the spilled treats.

Great product. The edjustable hole size means it can cater for most standard treats and cats biscuits. My cat loves it, it keeps her interested and i know she is getting plenty of excersize especially on rainy days when shes not allowed out! She is a very greedy girl since she was a stray as a kitten. Since purchasing she has stopped licking dirty dishes and chewing open her food packets. I would recommend this to anyone who has a playful and inquisitive cat.

We have two, two year old cats and since getting them a few months back, they constantly pester us for food, waking us up at five-am by miaowing and scratching outside the door, jumping on surfaces and licking plates in the washing up and chewing their way into sealed treat packets (even dog treats!!)
I picked this up today and it instantly grabbed their attention - unfortunatly the chubbier of the two realised he only needed to nudge it slightly with his nose to get the treats out, but now I have it on the smallest setting and they really have to roll it to get the treats. The other issue I found was the screw/lock lid came off realtivly easily - but some selotape's solved that.
All in all, it's kept them quiet all night. I'm not stressed because they keep slinking into the kitchen, and they just seem a lot more relaxed generally.

I highly reccomend this product!!

This is great. I put it down, pushed it a couple times and he was away! I got worried that Rufus gets bored at home sometimes, but with this, he is eating slow and looks like he is having fun! Really great product!

This slowed down a cat who used to gulp her biscuits whole then vomit. She now eats exclusively from the ball and rarely vomits.
Took a few days for cat to get the idea but worth persevering.

I adopted my cat at 7 years old and bought this as I was worried she would be bored during the day. Wasn't sure you could teach an old cat new tricks but she picked it up in minutes preferring to play with this than to just eat her dry food in her bowl. Its a great idea for indoor cats over weight or not. I generally will fill mine with dry food and a few treats.

I thought this ball was great. My cat took a few hours to figure out what it did, but after he did he loved it. He's a bit overweight so this is a perfect way for him to get more exercise. You can adjust the size of the holes so that less/more food comes out. I've made them quite small so that it really has to be chased around for any food to come out. My only disappointment was that the plastic clip that holds it together is a little bit too flimsy but it seems to have survived my cat bashing it around on wooden floors.

My cat's sister got this for christmas and just wasn't interested, the dog loved it as it was food in a ball! how could he not enjoy that! but as the main reason was to keep cats healthy we'd thought we'd see how my cat thought of it. However she quickly learned that she only needs to push it slightly with her paw to get a treat out, so that was a flop.
Great for dogs to play with, but cats......no.
