the only can dog food to enter our bowls

i use this for little crossbreed terriers, lab x and springer x along with a PAH working dry food rather than a mixer for that extra crunch and nutrition.

chappie original IMO has got to be the best canned dog food for the dog owner on a budget that refuses to comprimise on quality.

i understand its even prescribed by some vets for dogs with dodgy tummys.

its getting 5 stars however one gripe is this, over the last few months during a repackaging/rebranding type of process, at one stage in my garage (i tend to bulk buy it) i had three different labels bought at the same time from PAH. there is two different labels at the minute but even on a couple with the same labels the ingredients list was different for eg the fibre can be listed as low as 0.45% another is 0.9% but the very new ones its listed as 1.0%, some have the cereals first and others, the new ones i believe, have the fish listed first lets hope it remains at this and unchanged from now on.

please note however chappie original throughout this process remained looking and smelling the same, same colour same consistancy everything, so hats off to chappie for an excellent product and indeed to PAH for always having stock.

Recommended by my Vet for my dog who is recovering from Pancreatitis.

After trailing the internet for a low fat dog food that would be suitable for my 46 kg German Shepherd, Chappies is readily accessible and a lot cheaper than prescription food.

I have been cooking mountainous amounts of rice & fish for my dog but this is an easy alternative which provides all the necessary nutrients required.

Being a long time dog owner, you do encounter health problems. That's when I started using this brand some 20odd years ago and have never looked back sins. Although health problems have still popped up non have been diet related, my dogs love this brand and people are always commenting on my lovely companions.
