I picked this up to help keep my new yorkie puppies busy as they seem to love exploring everything in the hous. It was an instant hit with them and kept them busy for ages. Our large weinmaraner also joined in and the toy engaged his inquisitve nature for some time as well. The toy is slightly too small for larger dogs, but the puppies really enjoyed the challenge of finding their treats. Might be an idea to make or buy treats suitable for puppies under 6 months if you are getting this for younger pups or a softer treat which can be cut into small bits to avoid over feeding. Really pleased with this and good value for money.

We purchased this as a "starter" toy for our new puppy. The idea was that it would keep him amused while also exercising his mind! He is a large breed puppy, so we purchased this sliding-disc style in the hopes that it would be easier for bigger paws!

The puzzle is heavy, durable, and generally good quality. Pup likes to chew it, lift it up and push it around the room. It does get a bit "mangy" after a play and isn't as easy to clean as plastic or rubber toys, but I can't fault the design!

The puppy absolutely adores it- his tail goes like helicopter blades when we so much as look at it. The dishes under the discs are fairly shallow, but can hold a few small treats or a pinch of kibble. If you have a small-breed puppy who doesn't need as much food then this could be a great, engaging way of feeding a meal!

The only problem I have, and why I gave it 3 stars is as follows;
He worked it out in about 20 seconds! The discs are loose, so you have to hold it completely flat when putting it down for the dog, and it's very easy for them to work out how to move them!
Once they know how it's done, it's more or less easy treats for them... And I hate to say that I could have saved the money and just hid treats under cups for him to push over!

He does enjoy it though, and I think it would be brilliant for occupying a small dog or encouraging a puppy to eat slower :)
