Easy to put together and fill , my dog is a constant barker I can have friends round for 2 hours and he hasn't let up and with a new baby on the way couldn't have it. Got the collar the first spray after a bark was the last. Of course when the collar isn't on him he barks like normal but I wanted it for when little ones asleep. We have tried other methods before when my other daughter was born brought a high pitched noise collar which didn't work and also spend £100s on training with credited trainers and he's behaviour slightly improved but barking stayed the same this has been a life safer if someone knocks the door and the collar isn't already on him I just show it to him and he stops. He is only a small dog so was worried about size the collar is quiet large but its not uncomfortable for him.

brilliant for 2 weeks but then it stopped working so I rang the customer helpline and they told me to use a hair dryer to the pray entry nozzle incase it was clogged, which I did, but it still didn't work, then I bought a new battery at £7 per time as it only lasts 2-4 months, then another can of spray. customer service have said they will send me a new one as apparently they do have faulty batches. il try the new one when it arrives but at a very high price to buy I was hoping it would work as it describes on the package. extremely disappointed!!!!

Being a tight Yorkshireman I was very reluctant to part with [$] for something that couldn't possibly live up to the reputation. I have a ten year old Jack Russell who has been with me for the last year and has a habit of barking early in the morning to let you know he thinks it is time you got up.However, after being woken up two days in a row at 4:30am by him the choice was either get rid of him or pay out some money and take a punt on a Citronella collar.Amazingly it works! I put the collar on him at night when I went to bed and at half five the next morning I heard one bark and he has hardly barked since. There are no side effects to this that are apparent and I am getting plenty of sleep again!Having read the comments that the effect wears off or the dog gets used to the collar I have decided to wait almost two weeks before posting this review and feel the collar does exactly what it promises.I did have a couple of teething issues where the collar would not work (a bad batch?) and I had to exchange it at the shop but other than this I have had no issues at all.Trust me - I was cynical but now I'm a believer!!

I had heard great reports about this product but unfortunately it did not live up to its expectations! I have a small dog-a cross between a lab and a spaniel.
The first day we had the collar I thought it was great-one bark and then quiet rather than th constant barking we were used to. However, within a couple of days the dog had got used to the collar.... Realising if he pushed it round with his paw (which is easy to do as it is bulky) the spray would not bother him! Tightening the collar was no good as it was then too close and wouldn't go off!
Effective for a maximum of 2 days - within a week it had become totally ineffective!

These collars are a quick fix sollution which are not much better than a shock collar, they spray a huge burst of an awful citronella into your dogs nose, mouth and eyes. Can you imagine that? With the correct training and exercise you can control barking and other behaviours you may use the collar for.

We bought this collar for our 2 1/2yr old Cocker spaniel who had developed a liking for chasing blackbirds all around the garden, while barking in frustration as they sit and look at him(taunting him). This behaviour was driving us to despair as we didn't know what to do to break the habit.

Bought the collar last night, after pondering over spending so much on a collar. We brought it home and put it on him straight away and switched it on (against instructions for collar). We let him out in the garden and were amazed he barked once, flinched a little , then ran around the garden chasing the birds, only very occasionally barking as he forgot about the collar.

When we let him out this morning, again wearing the collar. I stood watching him amazed. He has been in the garden for most of the day and I haven't heard him bark once.

He has however looked a little depressed as if this new device he wears around his neck has stolen his bark, but Iam pretty sure he will get over that.

A truly amazing product, which you have to see working to believe it. Thankyou.

I got this product for my energetic border collie. she can walk for miles a day but even when tired still found it appropriate to bark constantly in a high pitch way enough to drive even the best of neighbours to distraction. I used this as it said and didnt actually switch it on for a week before I used it. I then switched it on and it worked instantly the first time she barked she didnt carry on continously she stopped. Since this she has barely barked and if she has even without the collar she stops after one bark now. I would definately recommend this product. It has worked for us. so much so she now stays out all day instead of being left inside due to the constant barking. If you have more than one dog that barks I would not use this as it would confuse the dog the microphone is sensitive and would pick up other dogs barking. Well worth the money

This product is very good, the only thing I feel bad about is that my dog will run and hide as soon as we say 'bark collar!'
She barks if she hasn't got the collar on though.
I do not think you should leave the collar on continually though, just when the dog is liable to bark (eg when your expectings guests)
