brilliant but small

its very good and my winter white loves it but he has no where to explore so I had to add an extension which cost me allot but overall its a fantastic product which is suitable for dwarfs based on the space.

The cage is ok but not great. It's a nice little home for my Robo but little is definitely the word for it. The main problem is that there isn't much room for play items in the cage - the wheel takes up a lot of room and bowl is quite large. I got a different bowl which is much smaller but also tend to scatter the food as it's a more natural way for him to feed.

The wheel that comes with the cage isn't great - very noisy and doesn't seem to be great quality so I replaced it with a flying saucer one. The hamster quite likes the tube and has been known to take bedding into it and sleep there.

I really wouldn't suggest keeping more than one dwarf in the cage or a larger animal. Although it just about seems adequate I am seriously considering getting another one to connect together so that he can have living quarters in one and a playroom in the other which will give more room and I will be able to put a couple more play things in for him.

We bought this cage a few weeks ago for our russian dwarf hamster misty, we thought that one cage was a bit too small and wasnt very good since hammies need a lot of exercise, so we bought another and connected the tunnel to the second cage, now misty is a very happy hammie! we also have 2 cats so the cage is great because there are no bars(except for the grid topping, which isnt big enough to get a cat paw through so its okay) so its cat-proof. hammies can run around freely without escaping but make sure the cage grid is on tightly(we have tied string around the edges of the grid so misty cant push it open and make sure the tunnels are tighly attached! its a nice cage, great, safe, and colourful, bit of room to add toys and treats! easy to set up,comes with everything needed for your hammie(food bowl, water bottle, house, exercise wheel) its nice and cosy, and the main part of the cage is easy to clean, the only 2 mini problems i have with this cage is that the tunnels are quite hard to clean, but if youre not lazy then you can take the tunnels apart and clean it so its not that much of a problem, and the wheel is a little noisy but if you put some vaseline on the back of the wheel every now and then it will make it quieter(make sure hammie cant get to the vaseline though!) i wouldnt reccomend putting 2 hamsters in this cage as it is a little small and if you can then i recommend buying two of these cages and connecting them since its more room for hammie! i think most hamsters would love this cage and i recommend it, overall brilliant little cage!

My Syrian likes this cage which is also attached to the Laura Ferplast cage. My Syrian has escaped once but that was because the knobley bits were not in probably. My hamster runs on the wheel all the time but is very noisy. We can here him running on the wheel throw the celling. Apart from that this cage is fine for a Syrian.

This product is only useful as a travel cage or a carrier due to its miniscule dimensions. I have 3 of them to use these as a cage I feel at least 2 should be connected for a dwarf hamster and any number connected is not suitable for a Syrian hamster at all. Pets at home sell a cage called a Mini Duna which is far more appropriate in size for a dwarf hamster and cheaper too!

i used this for my two roboroski hamsters i was worried that it would be to small well it would be if a didnt get rid of the bowl and house. i got a smaller bowl and a better house. now i can fit in there a toilet roll tube, hang from the celing chew toy, bowl, house, but also they come out there cage and have more space people dont think when they buy cages u can bye new and smaller bowls

This cage was used for our two chinese hamster lin and may. They like the cage and never ever actually tried to escape. They looked happy in there and used to both run on the wheel together. The cage itself is slightly on the small side. I have noticed that this cage has been shown on a episode of tracy beaker retrns too! I dont a syrian would fit in the house but my to hamster managed to snuggle up fine.

I dont have a problem with the wheel, but when it did get sqeaky we normally losensed it a bit or cleaned with oil. The tunnel was a nice feature but the holes must be kept to the sides or the pee and poop with come out erk!

Over all this is a great cage and perfect for one or two dwarf hamster. Anymore and this could get cramped!

This can be a nice wee cage, I got one from a friend and i only used it for vet trips to begin with, then on vet recommendation i kept my wee robovski hamster in it, sadly the wheel soon broke and i could not trace a wheel suitable for the cage without taking up too much space, pets at home said there would be a 3 month waiting period which was too long to wait, after my hammy got better i put him in his old barred cage but he seemed uneasy climbing on the bars so i purchased 2 more of these and a few more tubes and put all three cages together, it is now a good sized cage but i still feel it could be bigger, just deciding what/where to add on. This does not work out the cheapest cage, youd be better with a duna fun
