Bought this as a sleeping area for our 2 rescue greyhounds who took a dislike to our new open plan kitchen. They like to feel enclosed but I didn't want to separate them in 2 cages. As soon as I set it up (and provided a Pets at Home XXL memory foam dog bed!) they were in like a shot and love it. Have gone from having sleepless nights with them wandering around the kitchen barking and whining, to having 2 very happy dogs who don't want to come out of it. Despite being unsure if the medium size would be big enough, it's actually huge and there is loads of room for them to stretch out. Unfortunately, there were no instructions in the box so, although very easy to change its shape, I have no idea what the packet of metal strips are for - presumably for fixing it together if made smaller...It does take up a lot of space.

I bought the small puppy playpen yesterday for my puppy jack russell that will be 8 weeks old next week when I get him. I'ts assembled but as there were no written instructions with it, I'm hoping the large pin is correct in slotting through the 'eyes' ? A bit concerned that I've read other owners have clever dogs who can climb over it? I didn't want to lock it into a cage/crate and thought this might be a better option.

We reared our 7 Bearded Collie pups in the Medium Sized pen from 3weeks. They had room to sleep when smaller kept them safe & as they grew the pen extended with them. Great buy... even the adult Beardies will go into it with ease.

We would not be able to manage without the medium size puppy play pen it's excellent. Each section is hinged and therefore you are able to change the shape of the pen to suit your needs. Our puppy has her bed, water bowl and toys in the play pen. She is able to see us and is happy to sleep and play in the pen. Do not leave your puppy in the pen if you are not around they should be left in a crate with water.

If the gate opened at the top of the pen and not at the bottom that would be better. It would mean lifting your puppy out but gives you more control.

I have used this for my Lab since she was 10 weeks old and she will be a year this week! She has never escaped and goes into it for short periods when we are out! It stops her from chewing anything she is not meant to! I bought the medium pen and have had no problema with it except the pin that holds it closed has bent but that was easy to fix!

As new owners of an 8 week old Hungarian Vizsla pup who hates being shut in his crate, my husband and I thought that a playpen attached to the crate would be a great asset. However, first night we used this I opened the door to find said puppy prancing about living room free of pen (having pooped and peed in various places!). At first thought that I had not secured the pen properly the night before but then realised that it was still intact - my puppy had climbed over it. I later tried to use it again and witnessed my pup climbing up the bars like a ladder!!! I would not recommend this product for larger dogs, especially wiley pups who are desperate for freedom!!!!
