Feeding Guide (approximate per day)
One part of milk concentrate for cats to three parts of lukewarm water (approx 28-30 degrees centigrade). Stir well using a whisk. Feed whilst lukewarm and prepare fresh milk for each meal.
Dosage: In the first 2 weeks after birth: 1 - 2 teaspoonfuls of weaning milk solution every 2 hours/10 times in 24 h.
Up to 3rd/4th week: 3 - 5 teaspoonfuls of weaning milk solution every 2 hours/10 times in 24 h.
As from 4th week: mix with increasing amount of solid food and feed until the kitten is full.
1 teaspoonful = approx. 5ml - 1 tablespoonful = approx. 15 ml. These recommendations are based on values which may need adjusting according to the animals size and development.
For older kittens the ready mixed milk solution can be thickened with boiled natural semolina (do not use instant products which contain milk). The ration per meal can be increased until the kitten is no longer hungry.
