Shopping list for your kitten

Try to have these things in your home before your kitten arrives to make sure you're fully prepared!

  • Kitten Food. Make sure you pick a gentle mix designed for kittens, as well as some small treats.
  • Food and water bowls.
  • Pet ID tag, which needs to be attached before you first let them outside.
  • Toys. Even shy kittens will need to play!
  • Adjustable collar which your kitten can grow into.
  • Harness to supervise their outdoor time.
  • Kitten bed with plenty of space for them to rest.
  • Heat pad for chilly houses and extra warmth in winter.
  • Scratching post to let them keep their claws in shape.
  • Catnip spray to attract nervous kittens towards toys and equipment.
  • Litter tray with liners, litter and a scoop, so your cat can start housetraining straight away.
  • Carrier to transport them.
  • Kitten-friendly disinfectant spray to keep your home clean without using harmful chemicals.
  • Kitten grooming brush to keep your kitten's coat in good condition, and get them used to being brushed.
  • Flea and worm treatment designed to be suitable for small cats and kittens.
  • Feliway pheromone diffuser to help nervous or anxious cats stay calm.
