Having used Pets at Home clumping litter (small compact bag 5l) for over 10 years, dismayed to find whole range has now been replaced. This litter has large pieces of clay which means it doesn't sieve and you throw lots away. The actual product did clump well in a large tray but will use this until it runs out and then start a huge hunt for an alternative - not happy - have better things to do than experiment with cat litter!

I am surprised about the negative reviews regarding this product. I find that if you use a good depth of litter then it clumps very well and the urine does not reach the bottom of the tray. A very cost effective product and well recommended.

I bought this due to its low price and even though the product its self is fine it did not clump which ment I had to change the litter more often there for not good value for money in the long run. Will be trying out something else next. on the plus side I didn't find it to be smelly but that could be because my kitten is only little.

I have 8 cats and im always trying new litters to see which is best and this by far is the worst so far.... Smells after first wee, turns to horrible mushy substance after a few wees and has to be changed after 2 days. Waste of money. Would not recommend to a friend or even my worst enemy, i got two 15kg bags of this.

Tried this cat litter due to the price. However, it isn't good value for money as I had to change the litter so often. The litter smelled really bad after just a few pee's from my 2 kittens. It also badly stuck to the bottom of the tray and turned in to a mush whenever the kittens had pee'd. My kittens are 13 weeks and have never had an accident but since getting this tray 1 of them poo'd at the front door instead of using her tray. I put it down to how horrid this litter was. Am not too surprised mind you due to price!

Don't usually write reviews, but felt the need to say how utterly disgusting this litter is. I have 3 indoor cats, a 17 yrs old male and 2 females at 3 yr old, they all hated it, it smelled terrible, it didn't clump, it crumbled, it stuck to their paws and was trailed over all the house. I completely washed & dried their 3 trays and filled them with this litter just before going to bed and woke in the morning (6 hrs later) to the smell of cat pee throughout the house, I gagged when I went into the room their trays are in it was so bad, it also took me ages to clean the trays as the litter was caked onto the bottom of the tray, just glad it was on offer as I had to throw it all out, A complete waste of money,

It is very cheap and does not track at all. Very difficult to scoop the clumps out of the tray because they get stuck to the base and also because the clumps actually break up while you scoop them. I spend a lot of time scooping because I have to recover all the broken bits of the original clump. But for the price it is value for money. If you don't want to waste time, you'll need a more expensive brand.

I've recently acquired an adult cat and did not know her history. She doesn't really like going out and not being a cat expert bought this cat litter (and a litter tray naturally!) from Pets at Home. No sooner as I filled the tray the cat was in it doing her business! Clumps very well if you leave it for a few minutes and virtually no tracking and no odours. Would be even better if larger packs were available to make it even better value. Great product.

Had this litter "clumped" instead of "crumbled" I would have given it 5 stars without any hesitation. Virtually no tracking whatsoever, I was very impressed with it. If Pets at Home could get this litter to "clump", then its a winner!

This litter is pure clay, and does clump extremely well, but also goes quite hard and can be difficult to get off the tray...however, it is brilliant in terms of less tracking and being able to get rid of nasty niffs (haven't noticed anywhere near as much smell as with wood based litter, and this litter itself does not smell at all). My usual litter is the woodbased pellets (they have a scent all of their own, before the cat has even been near them!), and they track all over the house. I was sick of standing on them and anyone who has done so will know how much it can hurt!! This litter doesnt track anywhere near as much, in fact, I've only found one or two bits of it and I've been using it for about a month now. It is great. I've tried several other market products of differing brands and pricepoints, and I think that for an economical solution, this is brilliant.
