I brought this for my 2 Gerbils a few months ago, it is brilliant, very easy to clean although at times i think that there is not quite enough room for toys. I moved the water bottle to the top platform and managed to fit a wheel inside, which most people are saying you can't but you can fit one in!. My only criticism would be that the tank part is still not deep enough as my gerbils kick out a lot of bedding and make a lot of mess on my floor! However i have found that this is a great cage for my 2 boys! Its also great for hanging toys and treats off of the wires! I wouldn't recommend more than 2 gerbils. One last thing, my boys have taken to chewing the wires but it is not a problem they are not causing any damage.

A compact and light-weight home to comfortably house two or three gerbils. The plastic tank section allows space for a nice, deep digging substrate and this is, indeed, where my gerbils spend the majority of their time but are perfectly comfortable walking on the upper platforms.

The guide to 'setting up the gerbilarium' could have better pictures; close up shots of where the platforms are placed will better allow placement of the platforms as they were intended.

I would also have appreciad having two ladders for the green (top) platform, so I could position it as shown, or have it lower if desired just by swapping the ladder over.

My sisters have had this since December and they adore being able to interact with their gerbils without having to search around the cage to find them as they can look at them through the glass and wire!

I love this product because it is so spacious and lots of fun for pets. I have a Syrian hamster and she really loves it, it is hard to set up but once it is it is really good and my hamster loves it!

this product is great for keeping 2 to 3 gerbils, i had 3 gerbils but one died :'( it has lots of room for them to run around+excersize although there isnt alot of room to put a wheel in there. my gerbil manage to kick out loads of beding so that a bad thing, but overall a great product:) BUY THIS

I think this product is really great! It's easy to clean, light and safe! I think it's a really good deal for a cage. Sometimes the sawdust flicks out, but that can't be helped! My only issue is that the gerbils chew the metal bars, but if it was just plastic it would smell, so I think it's better having thinner bars, than an unventilated cage!

This product was a brill buy , my 2 gerbils (dougie and rico) loved it the moment they got it , i would recommend the gerbilarium instead of a hamster cage because it makes hardly and mess compared with a hammy cage , they also get tones more space and will lead to a happy gerbil !!!!!!!!!

Great design compared to old cages with several levels and deeper base but the plastic base is still not deep enough and the gerbils kick bedding through the wire cage constantly (very messy) Not roomy enough for our 3 gerbils and no ideal place to atttach water bottle!!! Not much room for toys either!!!. Great design aesthetically and lightweight but VERY difficult to put in wire levels when setting up and difficult to replace cage on base when removed as the ladder wont push through the bedding in bedding area and this therefore pushes all the wire levels out again (very tricky to put back in place!!!) Great idea and design but just not practical. Definitely try larger size or glass tank next time

I bought this for my syrian hamster Buster and he loves it! we put the sawdust in about 3 inches thick and he thinks its great burrowing around and going in the tube (provided). We added him in a large wheel and he is having a grand old time. would recommend this to anyone :)
