Had this for about 3 months now. Have 2 cats who are now 8 months old. They love climbing up it and balancing on the top. It hasn't fallen over at all and it seems quite sturdy.

Extra tall size is great for my larger cat to stretch out whilst scratching. My main concern when purchasing was stability as my cat has a tendency to climb scratching posts and hurl himself at the top but it hasn't fallen over yet! An absolute bargain for the price.

Its a very good sized scratching post with an attractive design. My kitten loves it, he is very big and it's the perfect size for him. I liked it very much, and have bought two!

I bought mine about a year ago & its still going strong, even though it's been used every day by 3 large adult cats & several kittens at varying intervals!!! If I could afford it I'd buy a few for the rest of the house. Our house is tiny and this is brilliant for shoving in a corner, but keeps the cats very happy.
I read the other reviews & can't agree with the base issues the other people mention. But I'd be interested to know if PaH would be willing to replace for them??!!

I bought this scratcher because my cat was clawing at the carpet, i positioned the scratcher right near where she was doing this and it did the job perfectly, it meets her needs because she is no longer scratching the carpet!

Ive had this scratcher for about 6 month and its still very sturdy and in good shape, my cat even jumps on the top of it and sits on it! The height of the scratcher means that it will still be tall enough for her to use when she gets bigger

Did not last - base too flimsy for the height - base needs to be thicker and sturdier - post fell away from post after two or three months as the chip board just disintigrated around the fitment due to the strain put on the post. Base needs to be two or three times thicker to make it more stable and to take the pressure put on the post when the cats use it. Would definately not buy again unless the design is improved. Poor value

I have had one of these for about 6 months andit has fallen to bits at the base already. The base is not thick enough for the pressure put on the post with its height and the cork under the base mat and fixing screw has all disintigrated cauing the whole thing to collapse. Would not buy another one unless the base was redesigned to make it sturdier
