Feeding Guide (approximate per day)

A complete pet food for all coldwater fish Feed your fish a few pellets 2-3 times each day, ideally just before the aquarium lights are turned off. Fish love these! Semi soft texture helps them small ones chew them up better. Also they sink so are perfect for my Fancy goldfish

Great - especially for swimbladder probs

I've tried several variants of fish food with my fancytail goldfish over the years from flake food to expensive pellets. I'd almost given up finding one that didn't cause him to suffer with his swimbladder, and was feeding him peas 90% of the time - then I came across this brand and thought i'd give it a try. He's had it every day, twice a day for the last 6 months with no problems at all. So if you struggle in your goldfish with swimbladder issues (and your water parameters are good), give this food a try.

Waste of money

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This food sinks so fast, my goldfish doesn't even see it. Also, the pellets are clumped together in the packaging, which is rather irritating. All in all, a waste of money. I'd rather PAH went back to their old own brand pellets. At least those were good (for the fish, that is).

The LoveFish Goldfish pellet is unique, soft, slow sinking pellet. The unique formulation provides a complete diet with very high nutritional values for the fish. Due to the soft nature of the pellets it is usually best to shake the pot before use to eliminate any sticking.

As a slow sinking product the fish normally eat the pellets as they sink. As an alternative LoveFish Goldfish Flakes could be tried. This product gives exactly the same nutritional values and the fish may prefer the flake version.

Excellent food, I've had fish for years (and many other critters) and have always fed them sinking pellets as floating food can often cause swim bladder in fish. However the sinking food was often coloured and stained the water or very expensive! This is neither! My fish only have to see the pot and they go mad! They eat every scrap non is wasted! I have happy healthy fish and a happy purse!

Great food to use as a stack with flakes

Make water dirty

I have my goldfish for 8 years and they usually eat the floating stick type of food. I found this new one and wanted to give it a try. However, this food sinks to the bottom too fast. My three giant goldfish did not even show any interest in this food even when it went right in front of their faces. It made the water very dirty and after a couple of days that I dropped this food in, my fish all lost their appetise even with their other usual fish food which I assume probably due to this particular type of food left on the ground. So even though I gave them the ones they like, they stopped eating. I had to change the water and then my fish resumes their eating activities with their normal food. This one to me is a waste of money and now I have to throw away the newly opened box which I only used twice.

Got my coldwater fish and this food at the same time. only have to use about 2 pellets for each fish. theres loads in the packet, so it lasts a long time. Sinks right to the bottom, which is good for my fish as they prefer swimming lower down. They seem to like it. Smells a bit, not to much. Overall i think its really good fish food, and i would defiantly buy it again.
