i was setting up a new tropical tank but ddnt want to have real plants as i have them in my other tank and they attract algae so i picked these because they looked like theyd sway in the water they did that exactly they look real and my fish love to hide in them. the only bad thing is sometimes when my apistos and corys dug near them they floated to the top but this was solved by a trip to P@H and i bought the plant anchors problem solved.

Bought this for my 3 gallon tank
this is far better than any plant I have ever bought!
A must have! My filter broke and brown algea appeared and it was too hard to clean but I will just buy some more because it is sooo realistic and my betta/siamese fighter is always "sleeping" in it xP

i have had this fern for about 2 months and they are still as good as new.. makes my tank look lovely. away better alternative than to a real plant..
My fishes enjoy swimming around and in the fern. they love it!!

Totally disagree with the previous review, you just have to follow a few steps to ensure the ferns stay looking good.

You have to pre wash the ferns before putting them in the tank to remove any loose leaves.

When you clean your fish tank keep, just gently wave the ferns in the old water to remove any debris in the leaves.

Overall the ferns offer an easier alternative to real plants, as they do not deteriorate or discolour the water if you pre wash them.

Not wanting to keep live plants in my aquarium I was looking for more attractive plants then those tacky thick plastic ones you get.

I got a few of these Fern plants and they look great in the aquarium, look more realistic and sway and move like a natural plant. A few days later I noticed that they were collecting alot of debri in them. I shook the plants in the tanks gently, to notice the the leaves coming apart. After a week or so they are pretty much bald.

So if you like plants, that the stems come loose from the base or if your lucky, you'll have bear plant stalks. The ones with leaves will be full of debri.

Avoid!
