These plants look lovely and much more realistic than the thick plastic, tacky looking alternatives.

However, make sure you soak / wash them thoroughly before placing in your tank. You'll realise why when you do. Hundreds of tiny pieces will come free from the plant which could potentially clog up the filter or be eaten by your fish. They are also quite lightweight even with the lead, so I placed them under and behind rocks.

Other than that, a great buy!

i was setting up a new tropical tank but ddnt want to have real plants as i have them in my other tank and they attract algae so i picked these because they looked like theyd sway in the water they did that exactly they look real and my fish love to hide in them. the only bad thing is sometimes when my apistos and corys dug near them they floated to the top but this was solved by a trip to P@H and i bought the plant anchors problem solved.

Bought this for my 3 gallon tank
this is far better than any plant I have ever bought!
A must have! My filter broke and brown algea appeared and it was too hard to clean but I will just buy some more because it is sooo realistic and my betta/siamese fighter is always "sleeping" in it xP

i have had this fern for about 2 months and they are still as good as new.. makes my tank look lovely. away better alternative than to a real plant..

Totally disagree with the previous review, you just have to follow a few steps to ensure the ferns stay looking good.

You have to pre wash the ferns before putting them in the tank to remove any loose leaves.

When you clean your fish tank keep, just gently wave the ferns in the old water to remove any debris in the leaves.

Overall the ferns offer an easier alternative to real plants, as they do not deteriorate or discolour the water if you pre wash them.
