Got this for my 5 month old springer in the medium size. It works as it should but without a quick release clip I have found that having to adjust it to fit each time I put it back on the dog for his walk is a pain in the neck, both his and mine. Luckily he is a dog that will sit still for this to happen. This needs a way of getting it on and off with out having to adjust the whole thing each time. I'm reluctant to leave my dog alone with a collar that tightens incase it gets caught on some thing. The other sizes in store had clips so they could be taken on and off each time, I'm not sure why the Medium didn't.
