Awful since product contents changed

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This product has changed beyond recognition making it completely unusable. I have purchased this bedding for over a year and been delighted with it until recently. It has gone from grey to white and instead of pulling away in nice soft clumps that your hamster can make their own bed from, it has become a bag full of dusty flakey material that crumbles instantly. There are also long strands of cotton thread in the mixture. Like the previous reviewer I would not put this anywhere near my pet's bed. I am very disappointed and will probably be taking it back to the shop for a refund.

Hit and Miss

Have bought this a few times in the past and it has been great. However, when I opened a recent packet, the product was not the same.

Normally this bedding is a greyish colour and pulls out in long fibers. This new packet I opened was more of a creme white colour and fell apart into small blobs and lots of dust. I squeezed the packet to check out the contents and it kicked out a huge dust cloud that covered me and my surroundings. This is not the sort of thing I want my pet breathing in so I have binned the entire pack.

Real shame as my hamsters love this bedding when it's right. Going to check the new packets in store. I hope this is a one off and they haven't changed the product.

Me and my hamster are happy with this product, it's good value for money and we have been buying it for a while now. Would defo recommend to new pet owners although it's best uses are for hamster owners.
