I bought this for my syrian hamster when I first got him home, he seemed to just walk through it like it was a toy and sometimes roll around in the potty sand but I've never actually seen him use it as a toilet, but I know people that have had good results with it so I guess it just depends on each animal, it's quite big so I did not keep it in once I realised he wouldn't be using it, it would be perfect for cages of 2 or more levels but with the one level it took up too much room.

This is a good product but after a while Staines come and it's hard to get off so I have to get another toilet but they are good for a couple of months

This is the best thing I have ever bought for my hamster's cage. A lot of people have written bad reviews about this, but they haven't bothered to TRAIN their hamster! All you need to do is find the spot they usually pee in, scoop some of the soiled bedding in the potty and put it in that corner. My hamster had a potty from day 1 and used it after about 5days. It stops the cage from smelling half as bad and cuts down cage cleaning dramatically - I only have to do it once a week now, when before I could clean the base of her cage 3 times a week! This is a great money-saver and would definitely recommend it. In regards to litter, when re-buying it, buy the Clean 'n' Tidy Potty Litta rather than the Super Pet Potty Litter, as I have found the Super Pet brand doesn't soak up the smell as well as Clean 'n' Tidy.

This really wasn't good. My hamster didn't use it and it took up alot of space in her cage. All she did was lie down in it from time to time, and if not ignore it! I'm pretty upset with this product because it looked good. It really didn't do the job!

good. hamster didnt start using it until about one week later i realist there was poo and wee in it which i was very happy of as i thought i had wasted my money :) The bag of litter you get lasts about 1 and a half 2 months . you can buy a bigger back for £2.99 which is a good price
i would recommend but you need too give it at least one or two week until you should realize you've wasted your money

It's useful stuff, and easy to use. Basically, everyday you just put some fresh litter in the small hamster sized container so that they can go to the toilet. It's good to use it if you have a hamster that is using it's toilet in a corner, or in it's bedding. It does get a bit smelly after a while of daily use, but it's definetly worth buying. I would mostly recommend this toilet for Syrian hamsters because it's just the right size. Enjoy!

I gave it too my three gerbils. They used it, but them started chewing it and now have completely destroyed the cover. They seem to use it as a seat, not a potty. They a destroying it more each day.

I actually picked this product up at another store, it was about seven pounds there, but we had to get it from there because the card machines at Pets at Home weren't working.

This potty has a pretty neat design and tucks into the corner of the cage nicely, but my hamster kicks the litter out. She loves to roll around and play in it- overall pretty good though.
