My cat has extreme food intolerances. She enjoys this food and tolerates it well. While it's quite pricey, it's considerably cheaper than prescription diets and better than having a distressed cat and constantly cleaning up sick.

We recently changed to this food after recommendation as we are both elderly and hardly have any teeth, aged 14 and 16. We particularly like the lamb more than the turkey and unfortunately they are the only choices, so we will get bored eventually and our 'Mum' does'nt know where to turn to for variety.

We do tend to lick all the sauce and leave the meat for later but it goes eventually.

The price is not very reasonable considering it doesn't even do 2 cats or 2 meals and we will have to be supplemented with fresh chicken as this is actually more economical than the tiny sachets this food comes in.

So either cheaper prices or larger sachets at a reasonable price please? We think its unfair that pet suppliers assume all us cats live on our own and yet dog food is supplied in much bigger packs regardless of the size of the dog.

my cat was having urine problems and my vet advised to switch to a cat food with cranberry extract. I tried this one and although my cat is very fussy - he loves it. I have been buying it now for almost 8 months and my cat has not had any more vet visits - added to this his coat has never been healthier. He is a persian and used to matt alot, this change in diet has improved his health and his coat.
The only downside; it is expensive and the pouches are quite small. Ideal when on the 3 for 2 offer though!

One of my cats (male, neutered) had a very expensive vets bill earlier in the year due to a urinary tract problem. I was advised to switch to a totally wet diet and so investigated foods available. I found James Wellbeloved and haven't looked back. Both of my cats love it. The only draw backs are that the pouches are quite small and the price. I have found the product cheaper elsewhere locally, but try to stock up when Pets at Home have their 3 for 2 offers. This gives excellent value especially with two cats.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I have switched to James Wellbeloved Senior pouches Turkey and my cat, who is a very difficult eater, is happy with it. No cereals seems better for my cat. Ingredients turkey meat, pea protein, tomato, cassave, potato flakes, sunflower and linseed oil, chicory, cranberry, yucca extract. More meat might be a good idea.
