Description

Johnson's 4Fleas Cat Tablets are an easy oral way to treat flea infestation in your cat or kitten.

Suitable for cats between 1-1 in weight;
Starts working 15 minutes from administration, with full flea eradication occurring in 24 hours;
Suitable to use on pregnant, lactating and breeding cats;
Can be administered with your pet's favourite food.

Fleas are often found within your cat's baskets, bedding, and regular resting areas, including carpets and soft furnishings; these should be treated with a household suitable flea spray and vacuumed regularly.

Within 10 minutes of sprinkling this tablet into my kittys food, I could see the dead fleas dropping off. He was much happier, and barely scratching only a couple of hours later.

The best thing about this product is that it is safe to use more than once a week.

Don't forget to follow up with a preventative treatment though, otherwise they'll soon be back.

I have a long-haired cat named Bella. I was a bit late with one of her flea treatments (Frontline Spot On) and the little buggers set up camp in her fur.

Unfortunately, what with her being black and long-haired, fleas are really hard to spot in her fur. It wasn't until she was grumpy and scratching herself that I started spotting them. There weren't loads, but she's allergic to the bites and they were clearly upsetting her, poor thing.

On the recommendation of people on this website, I got 4Fleas from my local Pets at Home.

I crushed up one tablet in her food and she ate it with no difficulty at all. Most people say it takes 15 - 20 minutes to take effect. Bella's kind of enormous (not fat, just large - she weighs in at 4kg) so in her case it took about 30 - 45 minutes. She scratched a lot, hid under a bed, scratched a bit more and then stopped. Quite a few fleas had fallen out. And Bella was delighted. She instantly curled up and went to sleep and hasn't scratched herself since.

She's been in a much, much better mood today - back to her usual affectionate, lazy self. She no longer wakes up mid-sleep to scratch/lick herself (which she had been doing for the last few days) and she's clearly catching up on the sleep she missed.

Great product. Not only did it work, but it worked quickly, without any visible side effects and without a trip to the vets. Can't recommend it enough.

Of course, I'll be keeping up the Frontline Spot On treatments (on time, in future) and flea treating the house. 4Fleas doesn't replace the need for regular flea treatment - it just kills the fleas if they do set up camp in the cat's fur.

My British Shorthair was absolutely crawling with fleas and so was my house! I was at my wit's end because I applied Frontline and this was obviously not working anymore. I crushed one tablet up and mixed it into his food. He ate it all up and within 20 mins he was scratching and licking like crazy. After 24 hours he was the happiest little cat I have seen! Purring away! Whilst he had fleas he preferred to sleep on a hard surface in the kitchen (I presume because there were less fleas jumping on him) but now he is back on the sofa and the beds happy as larry! I sprayed the house with the 4flea spray at the same time and all seems ok so far - I'm no longer getting bitten either! The good thing with this is that you can give them another dose a few days after just to get rid of any others that have crept back onto them. Great product.

I have a rescue cat who just won't allow me to use the Frontline drops. She is very suspicious and goes mad, hissing & spitting if I try and hold her down. She had a bad infestation of fleas. I've used the 'program' drops in her food but that doesn't kill live fleas, it only prevents fleas from developing.

I tried the tablet last night and can't believe how quickly it worked. Definitely good for a cat who won't be held.

Will keep a good stock of these!

I smash up a couple of cat treats and mix the pill in with them so my cat has no problem eating it. Works very fast and very effective on adult fleas, just wish any of the sprays worked as well on the eggs so they don't keep coming back.

Pros:

Simple, it kills all fleas on your pet. It is very very effective.

Cons:

It's a shame it's only a short term treatment, I wish all long term flea control products were this good!

My cats won't just eat these you have to make them take them, having said that it is a good deal easier than spraying them!

The cats do scratch A LOT and go crazy but that's becasue the fleas become really active as they die, it looks nasty but its not hurting your pets and a bit of itching now is better than having fleas for days/weeks!

Used this for my new kitten - had to crush the tablet then mix it in a drop of Dairylea! - But he took it, then after 15 mins he began scratching and licking for about half an hour, but was not distressed by it. Saw a couple of dead fleas on the cushion and combed a few off him. This morning I combed him - no sign of fleas!! Might not be long-lasting but much more gentle on a kitten than the spot-ons! :-))

My boyfriends kittens had a bad spell of fleas and their eggs, even after the nightmare of combing and combing they were still there, then my boyfriend was searching the internet and he came across these, all I have to say is WOW! Although his cats ate the tablets without any problems I can see it may be a problem getting your cat to eat them but it is worth the hassle. Within 15 minutes of them having ate the tablets they were scratching and fidgeting none stop for about an hour but I have read this is normal. I found at least 12 dead or almost dead fleas on the furniture and disposed of them with ease, compared to combing and having to try and kill them before they jumped away only to probably produce more eggs. These are definitely worth every penny!!!!!

I was getting desperate as this was a year that fleas seemed to be getting the upper hand. I had applied 2 treatments of Frontline and 1 of the Frontline Combo but with no affect. I told a friend who I work with my problem and she said that she treated her cats with 4Fleas. I bought the product and gave the stated does of one tablet to my cat (putting it down her throat)( also comes in drops on the back of the neck) and within 20minutes my cat started scratching as stated on the packet and the fleas began dropping off. With in an hour I must have found between 10 -15 fleas. Needless to say my cat is now flea free. I can certainly recommend this product.
