As a first time cat owner I didn't have a clue what to buy our cat to keep her entertained. I bought this as it was on view in the shop. It was easy to assemble taking about 10 minutes with the cat helping! It took her about 3 weeks to realise that this was hers and she was allowed on it. But now she knows we can't get her off it. She flies on and off it at a million miles an hour and it doesn't fall over (bonus!) she loves the balls as they keep her amused for hours and its the first time she has actually used a scratching post as she refused to use a normal bog standard one! We've had it for 3 months now and still looks as good as it did on day one so its very durable and gets a lot of use! Defiantly recommend for others to buy!

Bought this product today after our felines previous scratch tower from argos had all it could handle. After reading reviews last night I seriously could not choose what to buy! Went to p@home today and this product was set up in store (bonus)! Chuffed with how sturdy it is after reading all these negative comments made me skeptical. Excellent product, simple as pie to put up and my cat loves it! It wont last a life time but what do you expect from a well loved toy used day in day out? My cat climbs ours like a monkey would and hangs all over it!

Need a scratch tower? Look no further.

My cat loves it but she has destroyed it

My cat is 6 and still plays like a kitten so she loves everything and will play with anything.. However she torn this to pieces within 4 months... All the rope has come off and most of the furry fabric has been pulled off........ Not only that but she has also managed to tear the actual structure apart. She is absolutely tiny though (6 pounds) so must just be too boisterous for this!!! Would recommend this for a less energetic cat lol :)

I bought this tree over 2 years ago and it's been hammered by 2 lively young cats and slept in by a large lazy one. Shows signs of wear and tear and started to wobble but has been so resilient I ll buy another when this finally wears out

I have had my cat since 2010 and I have always struggled finding a versatile cat scratching post that is good value for money as they kept falling apart (literally) when Cody used them. I decided to spend a bit of money this time as you get what you pay for and cannot believe what value for money this is! I have had to take it apart and reassemble it a few times and it is still fine and Cody has been using it a lot including the ball tree and none of the balls have fallen off yet! My only criticism is that the bed stand and ball tree are too close together making assembling these pieces a little tricky.

Good while it lasted!

I bought this just over 2 years ago for my cat when we moved into our new home. Soon after moving in i bought 2 kittens so i could breed. Two years and 3 litters of kittens later the string around the posts has started to come away and the posts with the strong balls on broken i feel it's time for a new one! Was good while it lasted!

I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews regarding its durability and I'm afraid I was right being concerned as this is a very poor quality product and it didn't last long. I went back to the store and they gave me one new post to replace the one that broke and it broke too. My cats weight is 3,5 kg. The only pros: it looks ok, and my cat liked playing with it.

Bought orginally for young kitten who loved the product, enjoyed the toys and slept regularly on the top part however due to problem previously mentioned with mouse hole in linking pole the whole thing collapsed after a few months of use I returned the product and got a replacement due to the fact the cat enjoyed it so much but now for a second time after a few months the second one has collapsed.
Real shame as it's great for the cat just cheaply made through from cardboard meaning it can't take wear and tare of daily use which you'd expect for the price. Really let down.

bought one of these back in early 2008 and still have it. in loved condition. the top post is bending but are cat isnt the most intelligent cat around and thinks it may lift him up for him so dangles from it but hes had it since 5months old and he's gonna be 5yrs. still goes loop on it. does need replacing but the price of them have gone by £10 since we bought ours.

It is very easy to put up, my kitten loves it! She sleeps on the top level which is very soft and loves the scratching posts and the hanging balls she plays with for hours. Perfect scratcher
