The KONG Catnip Hedgehog Cat Toy is a soft and snuggly plush catnip toy that has a resealable pouch to hold the catnip securely in place.

The KONG Catnip Hedgehog includes:

Refillable catnip toy.
A vial of KONG premium North American catnip in a resealable vial.
Irresistible scent, texture and shape.

When the catnip scent starts to fade, simply add more fresh catnip for another round of fun!

Catnip can be stored in the freezer to help keep it fresh and the KONG Catnip Hedgehog toy is also machine washable with the catnip removed.

I bought this for my very savvy rescued street cat who has gained too much weight since obtaining the good life and who is also prone to scratching. Other catnip toys did not even rouse her interest but she constantly plays with this cute yet durable little hedgehog and I am hoping all the bounding around is helping the pounds fall off. The strength of Kong Catnip appears to be more enticing than other catnip toys on the market.

I have 2 indoor cats and so try to regularly buy them things to keep them occupied. Well this is a real winner! I have never seen such a reaction to a catnip toy! I was especially pleased with it as our tom cat started his life as an outdoor cat so seeing him having fun is always a pleasure. Both cats were rolling around with it, chewing and biting it, they couldn't get enough! it did get particularly soggy! which was not great (I don't recommend giving it to them on a bed) but it soon recovered on a radiator, and with a fresh round of catnip inserted they were ready to play with it again!
This is definately a toy I will be buying again!

My young boss cat has taken total possession of his little hedgehog and hugs and chews it like it's his new best friend. He loves it. Just as well it's washable - it does get a bit soggy! Toy holding up very well considering the amount of chewing and clawing it has had to endure from a big, playful cat over the past few weeks, and amazingly the cat nip has stayed safely inside. Being able to top up to keep the cat nip fresh is a great idea. I've tried the refillable balls but they didn't get his attention like this little creature. Haven't tried washing it yet.
