I live in a warm climate and ants are a problem. I have been looking for a cat bowl that has a tray beneath it that I can fill with water instead of having to place bowls on plates etc. I saw this product on the internet and purchased it whilst I was in the UK recently. It is brilliant. I just fill the tray part with enough water to cover the base, pop the food bowls on and the ants can't get across the water to the food. I also use my existing cat bowls with it and have found that they don't move around much. Also no mess - easy to clean and I haven't noticed any nasty odours at all. I have eight cats and they all use it happily. Purrrfect!!!

I have cats ranging from 5 months old to 6 years old, and use these feeding stations for all of them. One of my cats has severe dental problems and is a very messy eater as a result, but with these trays the mess is easily contained and cleaned up, making separate feeding in a multi - cat household fairly hassle free. It also stops the bowls being knocked over or chased across the floor, is easy to clean and excellent value. My only problem would be that the colours I received were not as aesthetically pleasing as in the picture.....however an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

I bought this for 5 year old Tabby Cat. Was terrible. She used it and chewed it. I tried cleaning but there were permanent stains. There was a bad smell after several washes. But the cat had no problems using it. Except for first time when she thought it was a toy and dragged it to my daughters room, spilling it all over the carpet.

Basically, don't buy unless you've got liquid Uberweiss, or cats with the brain of Einstein.

I have 2 very old cats who over the past 5 years have had to have a lot of teeth removed and dental treatment, They both manage very well ( can manage no problem going through a bin bag if given the chance!) but tend to get their food everywhere. I have tried place mats and different bowls but when I saw this it was perfect for what I needed.

I would like a single bowl version though as if my cats are fed together i never know how much the greedier one has had!

This product is so worth the money, no more mess, or treading cat food all around the floor, or any water spills. My two cats have never eaten together until now, I use both bowls for food & there is still more than enough space to put a water bowl too...it's great! It stays put due to the clever little grips that are supplied for the bottom, the two bowls are easily removed for daily cleaning & the whole tray is plastic so easily cleaned too. My cats love it and so do I...thanks Pets at Home.

I am so pleased with this item. My cat used to pull her water bowl across the floor or flip it over but with this tray she can't. She also push's her food out of the bowl but with this tray is is so much easier to clean up. I would recommened this to anyone with a messy eater. Well worth the price.

Great for keeping 2 bowls in one place. We use other, smaller bowls which fit inside the feeding station circular recesses as we find the bowls provided too deep for our cats (definitely dog size!). Our cats are always running around knocking over their water & this feeding station keeps the spills contained yet still keeps water in the bowl - essential if cats are left home alone. The feeding station's very easy to wipe clean, unlike other products we've bought where the food sticks to the plastic/rubber & is very difficult to clean. Easy to lift and move around too.

This item is great for dogs or cats especially if your pet is a messy eater (ie boxers) would be better if it came with stainless steel or crock bowls thou!!
