I tried this product for a couple of months with my small 6 year old dog. She does not like her teeth brushing (does any dog??? lol) so after reading the reviews I thought this would help sweeten her breath and help with tartar build up. She did not notice any difference in her drinking water so she took to it easily. Unfortunately I did not notice any difference to her breath or her teeth and on a few occassions she vomitted for no apparent reason although I can't be completely sure it was the product but looking back now it seems likely. The vomitting stopped once I stopped the product.
It is worth a try though but I believe that good oral care can be achieved by good dry food diet, regular brushing and using the liquid - all combined. Using something is better than using nothing at all!

This is a fab product, we bought it for my older cat at she is beginning to develop dental problems. She had not problems drinking the water, and noticed an improvement in her breath in the first few days, and the same with our younger cat.

Unfortunatly we've had to stop using it, as our younger cat has a sensitive tummy, and had a few problems with the product.

Great product, and very effective, but perhaps not suitable to animals with sensitive stomachs xx

I have to say I am really impressed with this; it says on the bottle that it starts to make a difference within two weeks but i found that it worked within about seven to nine days! I bought this when my youngest cat started to struggle whilst eating his biscuits due to his teeth. after using it everyday for about a week he was eating biscuits again!
I even used it on my other cat who we took in as a stray about two years ago who has never been able to eat anything apart from really mushed up wet food or supermeat due to his teeth being that bad from having cat flu when he was a stray. now he is eating biscuits for the first time! and his breath smells allot fresher that what it was. really chuffed!

After picking my ragdoll kitten up from the breeder I started to notice his breath was quite smelly so I got some oral liquid to put in his water. He did notice when I started to do this and at first he would stop drinking so I just put a tiny amount in and that did the trick, after a couple of weeks his breath was great no more smells, he has been having this in his water now for about a year I did increase to half a teaspoon in his fresh water everyday, he now drinks a good amount of water and the vet said his teeth are in great shape. This product is well worth a try.

My 12 year-old Greyhound has suffered with poor dental health and very bad breath ever since I adopted him at the age of 6.5. A broken jaw suffered during his racing days doesn't help as his bottom jaw is crooked and he can't close his mouth properly. He has had several teeth removed. I find it impossible to use a toothbrush on him as I can't hold him and brush at the same time, so this mouthwash is ideal. Simply added to his drinking water, his breath really has improved, so I hope his teeth will not get any worse now. Time will tell!
