I love this cage. We got two hamsters for Christmas and this is the cage that my parents chose. I got two Russian Dwarf hamsters and they loved it. My sister had hers called Spiro and mine called Rhino. Rhino died after 8 days, sadly. The dog bit him. My friend has two Chinese and they were fighting so she is giving one to me. Back to the cage...
It is very easy to clean out and when you want to play with him/her you can just take the lid off and take the platform out.
They love going on the platform and climbing at the sides and they also adore the wheel that comes with it...the wheel is the squeakiest one I have ever heard. When I first heard it I was a bit worried because I thought a mouse had got in there!!!!! I reccomend to ANYONE that you should get a new wheel (that doesn't squeak prefrebly).
There is another thing I get annoyed about this cage: the door is on the top which means it's harder to get them out and if you're small you can't reach!!!!!
The water bottle that comes with is treacherous. Terrible. Disgraceful! The holder wasn't strong enough to hold the slightest drop of water, nevermind a whole 75ml! Also, I bought a little container of Pro - B something and you had to sprinkle it in their food and one scoop of it every 200ml of water. But the problem was that the water bottle only went up to 150ml! The holder the water broke too and we had to use an elastic band and a little log to hold it up.

I still reccomend this to anyone, though!

Very expensive, certainly not worth the money. Base is out of shape so the bottom dosn't fit the top properly mainly because not sturdy enough materials. The wire mesh on cage is coming off in three places where not fixed together properly. basically a cheaply made item that is well overpriced. Would not recomend unless available much cheaper.

A member of staff recommended this cage for my sirian hamster as it didnt have tubes (which my hamster bit through!!) It was very easy to set up, but i soon found the wheel which comes with it to be very irritating as it squeaked really badly. If you buy this cage I would definately reccomend buying a silent wheel with it, also the door is at the top rather than the side so its hard to get my hammy out of the cage. You can also remove the platform which leaves extra space for accessories.

I got this product for my Syrian hamster, who was quite a bit smaller than my previous Syrian hamster. It isa a very good product with almost no shortcomings, and she certainly enjoys climbing on the bars. However, sometimes the walls of the cage ride up a little, creating a very small gap, this is not noticed by my hamster, but couold be a problem for smaller hamsters, especially Roborovskis.

I brought this cage for my new baby chinese dwarf hamsters, and they have loved it. However, I immediately noticed when putting it together that it comes with a small plastic bowl. It is recommended that you buy a ceramic bowl for hamsters so they can't be easily gnawed or tipped over. However, the plastic bowl does clip onto the bars. I have had no problem with the bottle provided.

I brought this cage because it has no difficult tubes to clean and comes with metal bars. Hamsters do like to gnaw and plastic cages often don't provide bars for hamsters to gnaw on. This cage was perfect for what I wanted, and also lets the hamsters climb up the sides and even hang upside down!

However, as the hamsters started to settle in, they have started to use the wheel more and it is incredibly noisy! It does sometimes wake me at night and has prompted me to find a replacement wheel for the cage as I'm sure it isn't doing the hamsters ears any good either, although they do love it. It does seem jerky in movement and takes the hamsters a bit of strength to get it going. This may be because my hamsters are less than 2 months old though.

Overall, great cage, just let down by the cheap plastic accessories.
