this product is vey effective for lighting my aquarium, i have bought 2 of these lights for watching my fish at night time.its bright enough to see the fish but not too bright to diturb the fish or me. at first i was reluctant to buy the lights with the hub for nearly £30 but dont at all regret buying them now. these lights are a great way of adding moonlight or highlighting impressive scenery in your aquarium, however this can be expensive to achieve.

I brought this LED light for my sons first fish tank as I wanted him to be able to see the fish at night as he was falling asleep. However upon getting home and opening the packaging I realised that you need to buy a seperate LED hub, which is not mentioned at all in the Pets at Home description on the website! Nor is this 'hub' advertised for sale at Pets at Home. The light itself looks like it would be effective however I am unable to comment on the functioning as I havn't seen it working!
