I have a small 17 litre tank without a hood so purchasing this light was the best choice for me as it's submersible.

I only have one white one in my tank and placed it above my airstone so gives a nice bubble effect. Just not entirely bright that's all.

When I purchase my 125 litre I will still be using these as they can give nice effects (the green ones will emphasise my plant life) so they do have their uses.

If your intention is to only light up the tiny bulb and nothing around it then this is the light for you. If you actually want a proper aquarium light then go and buy a proper one.

For the money that you pay you expect something that is effective, what you get is a complete waste of space. If you had to buy this or light a fire in the tank you'd attempt to light a fire

I recently bought this single LED light from a different retailer. I expected it to be very bright but when I turned my bedroom light off, there was little light left in the room/tank. This product is mostly suited to small aquariums, or an adaptor can be bought for around £12-£13 which acts as an extension lead for other similar lights in different colours. If more are bought in different colours, a fish tank can be colourful but this is expensive to acheive!
