hey,

this is the cage that i bought for my hamster called Chico. i had never had a hamster before, and i went to get my stuff then i knew that was the cage i wanted as the reviews were brilliant and it looked even better in pets at home. but then i saw Chico and i ended up taking him home 3 weeks early. it was a rush to get him home but he has settled in nicely i have had the cage for about over a year now, i would recomend a space bigger than 2 rulers put together mine is on my chest of drawers ... i was thinking about getting him a change of cage but we will see... The only bad thing that i have to say about it is that the wheel wasn't really good so i took it out and i just put him in his space pod ball that i also got from pets at home. the food bowl is great he just sits in it and eats away quite happily !! and it is really easy to clean and that's coming from me an 11 year old.

so good luck if you get this cage hope you enjoy it very much !x

I bought this for my robo hamster. Overall the cage is great for dwarf hamsters however I'd recommend a different bowl (the one included is huge). I took out the platform because it was annoying, wasted space underneath. Instead I bought a new wheel and built platforms and tunnels that my hamster can use and I can see him

I bought this cage for my two chinese dwarf hamsters chalk and cheese.They seem to like it. There was plenty of room for them both to run around. Thay do not like to go in the nesting box,instead they like to bury themselves in the bedding under the platform.I have added a see-saw and log tunnel to keep them happy.
Overall I am verry happy with my cage.

Plastic is not strong enough to stop little teeth biting through!

i wouldnt buy this again for a new hamster, because if the hamster is under the plastic then you can't get it. But you mite be okay if you have already had your hamster for about a mouth and swap cages but NEVER BUY THIS CAGE FIRST!!

ok guys,

i understand what you have all been saying about how bad the cage is but the reason half of you are not enjoying it to its best ability is because firstly

the cage top does have to be treated gently it must be fixed in and used carefully.

the wheel must not be on that plastic thing P@H do a great free standing holder to place the wheel on its quite cheap so you take the base off turn it upside down and there is a clip pinch it and slide it out then you do not need it anymore and place that wheel on the stand place in cage

also dont buy a new wheel its pointless and very silent wheel eventually goes squeaky so place abit of olive oil on the 'turning part' of the cage every week when you clean it out.

if you use the cage correctly nothing can go wrong!!!

I've had to buy a free standing hamster wheel because the wheel fittings can not keep the wheel off the bottom of the cage , when the hamster is in it .
