I bought this for my 9 week old bichon frise. He loves it do much he's eating it. He's chewed off little parts of the plastic and swallowing it? Is this good for him? Can he digest it? I have taken it off him - but it was the only toy that would stop him chewing everything else in sight! Can you recommend anything better?

My 9 week old Parson Jack Russell terrier loves this toy. Its a perfect size for her to gnaw on and she tosses it around by the ribbons. I will certainly buy another when I see it in the shop so that I have it when this original wears out. I suspect it will last quite a while in the paws of a small breed puppy. Thanks

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought the second one for my mum's 1 year old dog as she loves it so much. It used to be much more durable when she was younger. So I think this perhaps is more suitable for a younger dog. Our dog is a Chihuahua but she bited off the corner in one day.

My mum's 1 year old Chihuahua loves this blue bone. She takes it everywhere with her. However, it doesn't seem to last long. After a couple of weeks, she already pulled off the colourful ropes and after a couple of months, one corner of the bone nearly fell off so I cut that corner out and she focused on the different sides and that nearly fell off now just a couple of weeks after. My mum threw it away now as she was afraid the dog will swollow the bits. It looks like it is perfect for young puppies but once their teeth get stronger and shaper, it doesn't seem to last. Seeing that she loves it so much and keeps looking for it everywhere now (and other toys are too big for her), I am buying another replacement for her but I think it wouldn't last long either...

My puppy loves this toy, she picks it up and runs everywhere with it, its great for her baby teeth as well as helps keeps her teeth clean. Highly recommended and it also helps stops chewing on furniture.

My dog enjoyed it for the 10 minutes it lasted. Was told that this item would last my 7 month jack russell a long time, but after 10 minutes of her playing with it there was pieces everywhere. A real choking hazard and disapointment. Not worth [$]
