Pets At Home Response: Hi
Thank you for contacting us.
The battery operated gravel cleaner is a very simple light-weight cleaner which removes light debris from the gravel surface. For more heavily soiled aquariums a hand operated siphon-action cleaner is necessary.
If the battery operated cleaner is not up to the job then the gravel is possibly housing too much debris. This is generally a result of over-stocking or over-feeding, or too in-frequent maintenance. A review of the aquarium management may be required.
