What a useless device! It has gone off every time my dog lays down and rubs on the carpet. She looks at me quizzically when she hears the noise, but since she is associating it with lying down and scratching she is just getting cross. I can't see how she is ever going to associate this with barking when it's making a noise for all sorts of reasons. Far from deterring her, she is just getting frustrated and trying to scratch the collar off. I am returning it to the store tomorrow :(

Worked well. My lab/ret stopped barking after first bark the few times he barked. Let it on him overnight (his worst time for barking) didn't hear him through night went down in morning to see the very thin plastic which holds the block to the collar had snapped.

Returned and got a full refund after being offered a replacement.

bought this for both of my dogs and they dont seam too care too much , they go off when not needed and when they do go off the dogs bark anyway i would only recommend this to new dog owners that have puppys , as the saying goes "you cant teach an old dog new tricks"

Bought this product as our dog would bark for no reason, he just wanted attention as he is a playful 1 year old! Been using it for about a week now on the vibration setting but our dog has learnt what happens so we don't always have to turn it on! Once we put it on him he lays down and settles! Would reccomend this product.

Have had this collar for our Rottie X for approx 6 weeks, to prevent her from constantly barking at night or anytime she is left alone. for the first two to three nights it seemed to work but since, not a chance she constantly barks unless someone is with her. She is 14 years (98 in dog years) and have never had any trouble at all with her incessant barking until the last few weeks we have had the setting on the high pitch noise and the buzzing but neither seem to have any effect on her

We had a dreadful problem with our dog barking constantly when our neighbours even stepped outside. She even barked at the birds and squirrels - window cleaners, gardeners - well - it was frightful actually and in the end the neighbours did speak up and complain. We bought this device from pets at home hoping that it would work and IT DOES. I would absolutely recommend this. Our dog is from Battersea and highly nervous and anxious - very territorial and we truly were amazed when the gadget worked. Our neighbours actually had builders who had to work in full view of our dog all day for about a week and she was fine - one little bark and that was it. Brilliant and humane. Excellent.
