It's advised that a ferret food has 32% protein, 18% fat and 3% fibre in it ... as you can see, this food equals (and goes above) these amounts.

I have been using this on my rescued ferret for the past 2 years now. Her coat is in great condition, she is healthy, happy and fit as a fiddle.

Now and then I give her cooked turkey and a teaspoon of Ferretone supplement (Pets At Home, can you stock that, from USA >>> ?) ... and this completes what I consider a really super diet for them!

This food contains too much filler and not enough meat based ingredients. This food results in loose and smelly poos which is not good.

It's okay as basic food, but if you truly love your ferret then I would opt for higher quality kibble with more fat and protein, and less wheat.
A ferret would okay on this if mixed with a higher quality kibble or two, aswell as raw, fresh meat everyday such as poultry (chicken, turkey, duck, pigeon, etc.), rabbit, mice/day old chicks, etc. - A mix of kibble and raw meat will make your ferrets very healthy, both inside and out.

My three ferrets, Eric, Ernie and Mo are fed on the diet above and have lovely soft fur with great shine, and regular solid poos. They get the best out of the food they are given: the right amount of fats and oils, protein aswell as vitamins.

I used the product on my year old ferret.She seemed to like it (but she's more keen on other food) and the price is fair,so is the size of the bag as I would buy any bigger (smaller stays fresh).
I tried many brands but I must say this is probably the worst one.The ingredients are okay-ish although there's too much oils and fats.She had very smelly faeces and horrible amounts.
I don't think I would buy this product again,there's better brands available maybe they cost a bit more but theyy're much more healthy for ferrets.

Would prefer more fat in a high quality ferret food, and probably a little more protein as well, with less wheat.
My lot had very smelly faeces after eating this, which wasn't too great, and my oldest stopped eating it after three days, although my others did enjoy it.
Prefer other brands, especially as this comes in such small bags.

I feed my two ferrets this dry food every day, i also feed them raw meat on a night time, but this food does full them up and keeps their fur's healthy, rich in colour and softsoftsoft! I'd recommend this product over and over again.

I have fed this to my ferret every day since she could eat solid food and as far as I can see she is perfectly healthy with an amazing coat. I get a lot of comments from people who admire her incredibly soft and shiny fur and I always tell them it's because I feed her the ferret food from Pets at Home. I fill her bowl every day and by the end of it most of the food has been eaten so I know she enjoys it. A bag usually lasts her about 2-3 months so it is definitely good value for money.

My ferret loved this brand i've tried him on a few other but he went crazy when i brought this for the first time, its not exactly expensive and its good for them. You really should buy it.
