Nugget Food for Guinea Pigs by Pets at Home is a great choice, with all the essential nutrition of a muesli food blended into one tasty nugget.

Guinea Pigs, like humans, cannot produce their own vitamin C and must receive it via their food.

Nugget Food for Guinea Pigs by Pets at Home contains enhanced vitamin C to boost your guinea pigs immune system and maintain general health.

Your guinea pig’s diet should be supplemented with additional roughage, which can be provided through feeding hay like the Timothy Hay by Pets at Home.

Composition:

Wheat and Oat Bran, Grass Meal, Soya, Peas, Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pulp, Brewers Yeast, Vegetable Oil, Dicalcium Phosphate, Fructo-Oligosaccharides, Calcium Carbonate.

Analytical Constituents:

Moisture 10%, Protein 16%, Oils and Fats 3%, Fibre 16%, Ash 6.5%.

Feeding Guide (approximate per day)

30-50gm.

Please always ensure that fresh drinking water is available.

When feeding for the first time introduce gradually over 4 days.

I have been buying this product for many months and my pigs seem to really enjoy it.
However has anyone else noticed the inconsistency of this product over the past few months. Every bag l open seems to vary in colour to the previous bag and the latest bag l purchased even contained two sizes of nuggets.
My pigs will not eat the smaller nuggets and the bowls are never empty now as they used to be.
Why does the product have to keep changing all the time???

I've always bought 10kg bags, as our guinea pigs are will eat anything and at a crazy pace! I've always fed them Gertie Guinea Pig in the past, but got worried about their selective feeding (they refused to eat the yellow flakes), so I tried these nuggets for them.

They ate them well and quickly, and there was no problem. However after 2 weeks use, I noticed they would squeek when urinating. I took them to the vet they had some kidney stones and UTI, which the vet suggested was diet related. I changed their cage every 2 days, so it's not to do with hygiene. I swapped back to Gertie and have had no such problems since, which is a shame as I liked the nuggets!

well if you are reading this i would just like you to know that it is good 4 pets but i would just like to say remember feed them fruit and veg everyday . if you don't like chopping the food just play GUINEA PIG MASTER CHEF !!!!!!!!!! dun dun da PLEASE RATE IT i don't mind if i wasn't helpful because i did try well GOODBYE

This product is great! I got this when i just got my first piggie, he absolutely loves it. It lasts a long time and is good for their coat, digestive track, trims their teeth and he finds it tasty! It also has lots of good vitamin C :]

My two guinea pigs have been on it since they were pups, they wolf it down everyday and just seem to love it! The great thing is they can't pick out the just the bits they like so I know they are getting the the nutrients and vitamins they need.

I have two guineas one short hair and one long haired. I feed them this product every day, twice a day and i have noticed it does wanders with their coats especially the long haired one and it doesnt make their coats greasy. I have owned guineas for a few years and have noticed that other pet foods make their coats quite oily and also makes them picky eaters where as this product doesnt.

ive fed my guinea pig on this since the day i got him he loves it, ive had him since the end of august 2010, and he hasnt eaten any other food he turns his nose up at treats this food and hay is the only thing he will eat, its a great product and he goes threw loads of it
