Got it for my 2 little kittens who are now 9 weeks old, id already got them a small post which they loved and mastered quickly so I decided to get them another one a little bigger and they were cautious at first but after a couple of days they were up and down it in a flash. Cookie Monster and Muffin LOVE IT!

I got this to replace the small scratch post as my cat was getting older. This size was perfect for her and she enjoys using it. She doesn't really play with the ball but this to due to her preference in noisy toys.

Apart from the toy ball, which disintergrated within a couple of weeks, we've had this post for 16 months and only now need to replace it.
The cat was forever shredding the furniture previously, but since this, we've not had any problems.
It can be quite messy with bits of fluff from the base and the toy ball coming off. Also, now the cat has scratched to death her favourite height, she's managed to get the rope unravelling, so that makes even more mess.
Considering the price, I am not disappointed and think it's lasted well.

Bought this to replace my cats worn out scratching post. Looked nice and was the perfect height. However because of the blue thing in the middle of the scratching post it means my cat cant scratch their, which is where she would usually scratch because its the perfect spot for her height. This means that she can only scratch on the bottom part, meaning that is absolutely tiny.

Bought for an 8wk old kitten. The ball lasted 4 weeks... Totally ripped apart. The actual scratch post began to disintegrate at 5mths and had to be thrown away at 6mths.
Very disappointed with it. Thought it would have lasted years.

My small Persian uses this several times a day - I wouldn't have a sofa left if this weren't protecting the corners. She can have a good stretch because it's tall. Now having to buy a new one (lasted a year). Not suitable for larger cats - it's too narrow for my large Persian who has a fat/wide post.

I got this when my cat was just 12 weeks old, she loved it from the get go and a year on, she still loves it and prefers it. I moved it upstairs recently, replacing it with a jumbo sized one for the living room. About 4 ft. When I come in, in the evening she runs to it for a stretch and scratch and the first few weeks she was really confused by the big scratching post, until she got into the habit of running up the stairs to scratch the trusty faithful Never frayed, still in great nik. The bottom collects her hair which is easily hoovered, and the ball feel of in the first few weeks, well was torn off that is. I tied lots of other toys onto it at different time. She still plays with the string attached to it. Bargain for the price - Could be a little taller for an adult cat but great for the first few years.

When I saw the size of this scratching post i was amazed because it had such a good price for it. I have a 3 months old kitten, and she just loves to play on it excpecialy the pom pom at the top. I would say over all that i would recomend it to thoes who have kittiens, because its small for older cat. I will give it 4 out of 5.

Perfect price and perfect size although is maybe to big as my kitten who is 9 weeks old can sit on the top and jump onto the worktops so i have to unscrew it when i am going out. He has used it for 6 days non stop and he has totally destroyed the round ball that is hanging from the top so have had to cut it off so a bit disappointed but great material for his claws.
