The clippers get really hot when used, the combs fall off when cutting, and even plugged into the main the cutting strength is very weak compared to other clippers, as the battery runs down even when plugged in.

I have an elderly Yorkie with fine hair & a young Cairn. They have a double coat so I need clippers that can cope with anything. Also, they're fidgets so having the option to use it cordless is a plus!

I found it easy to set up, just oil the blades & charge it up! For it to keep working at it's best, you have to be prepared to keep it clean & oiled. The guide combs seem to fit fine on mine, it's powerful, pretty quiet & doesn't vibrate as much as the cheaper clippers I've bought in the past. On the subject of value, my little old lady (17) gets distressed at the groomers so being able to groom her at home & keep her stress levels as low as possible is priceless. Moneywise, it costs the same as sending my two to the groomers just once so it's paid for itself already!

All in all, I'm very pleased with this buy, just wish I'd gotten it sooner!

I'm sorry but having spent[$] on this so called prof system, I can confirm the combs fall off whilst cutting resulting in an extremely short cut. In my view they are DANGEROUS. On contacting the manufacturers they offered to replace the combs and said this would resolve the problem!!!!! or I could spend an additional £16 plus postage on a longer blade. Not impressed.

I have found these clippers to be excellent on our Spaniel. The problem with previous clippers was that they would constantly clog and the job would take twice as long. These are a little more expensive but definately worth the pricetag, after all I used to pay [$] a pop at the poodle parlour. 5 stars from me!

This is a fantastic product, I decided to groom my lhasa apso after the groomers nicked him a few times. The clippers are really quiet so my dog didn't notice and loved getting it done. 5 out 5.

About as powerful as my leg shaver, even on mains. Just skimmed over my Scottie & Westies back. Took so long, dog got restless. Blades heated up quickly. I had the Wahl multi for years, I brought this thinking it would be better, as advertised as Professional Clipper. It's more like a Trimmer for touch ups. Very dissapointed. Plus side, quiet for nervous dogs.
