Description

The Puppy Training Pads by Pets at Home are a great way to help housetrain your puppy,as the specially scented pad encourages your puppy to relieve themselves on the pad rather than on your floor.

The pad is also highly absorbant,locking away moisture within the quilted layer to help prevent the formation of odours.

Over time the pad should be moved outside and then housetraining is complete.

Make sure you reward your puppys success and be patient, the housetraining process may take several weeks.

Material: Cotton.

Bought these as my chinese crested is almost there with house training but as he gets so excites is still prone to the odd accident, since i have put these mats down though he goes straight to them when he doesnt get chance to get out quick enough.

This product is good except that we have a husky so we initially used up many sheets in one day . If Pets at home did a bigger size, it would have been better. We were also advised to purchase the potty training spray by Simple Solutions alongside this to help training (which helped a little).

Due to the sizing, there were often times when our pup misses the sheet because she thinks all 4 paws are on the sheet and her pee would just run underneath - which makes it a bit of a hassle to clean up,

Apart from the above, I would recommend this to others as it does keeps the liquid in and reduces odour. Smaller breed dog owners will probably find this more useful.

Before I bought these my puppy had trouble using newspaper so I tried using puppy pads and hasn't urinated or soiled on the floor since. I am very satisfied and it is worth buying.

Our 8 week old cockerpoo loves these.
He goes on them nearly all the time. Couple of mishaps but otherwise well worth it

Ive been using these pads from day one, I put one in my puppys pen incase she needs to 'go' during the night and also have one next to the back door during the day. I find them absorbant, easy to dispose of and much better than newspaper. My only complaint if you like is the price considering what they are used for however I would recommend them

I found that my puppy was not attracted to it, and still preferred peeing elsewhere. We eventually got him to pee on all the time, but it wasn't very absorbent.

We then decided to put newspaper on top, and it did the trick.

He also thought it was fun to totally rip them to shreds while we were out :P

Once we used them up we just stuck to newspaper (much cheaper and more easily accessible option)

Disappointing, as usually PAH products are good quality.

This product is amazing! Before, we were using a different brand of training pads that we'd bought from our local supermarket, and they were very flimsy. Our 14-week-old Yorkiepoo is nearly paper-trained now!

We have a 10 week staffy pup and we've found these the best since day one, I've tried cheaper and more expensive ones but they either leak/smell/fall apart or the dog just doesn't use them. He does now like to chew them up but when he was using them all the time they were great and my nice clean carpet has stayed that way! I would recommend pads over newspaper anyway (from experience), as he is now completely house trained we now use them underneath his blankets in his bed, and put on the car seats on long journeys just in case! Just to keep his bedding and my seats nice and fresh!

Used these to puppy train our black Labrador, did use supermarket own and bobmartin but these where far better, thicker, easy absorbed and maintained the accidents, and even if they became a play item ( thankfully the dry ones ) we could still use them. Would definatley recommend these

These just are not worth the money My staffie pup can shred these in SECONDS she also pees right through them soaking my floor lucky I have tiles down and not carpet. they arent absorbent at all and not much more useful than using newspapers! I reccomend buying incontence sheets for people. they are more absorbent but can still be shredded these pads are only good if you have a tiny little perfectly behaved puppy
